Blake's Surgery

It's being reported that Blake is having his surgery today, is the procedure considered a Major/Minor Surgery? Is this a simple, quick and easy rehabbing procedure?
I'm thinking he should be able to start rehabbing in 6 weeks or so, so he should be ready to go by October?
I really think that we are a little fragile up front & hope we could get a 7footer just to eat some minutes and take the pressure off DJ & Blake. No, Hilton Armstrong should only be on our Summer roster!

I forgot where I read it (I think LA Times?) but recovery should be 1 1/2 - 2 months.

Does it worry anyoneelse that our biggest star, to whom we have committed almost $20mil a year cap space, will have both his knees surgically repaired?

It's the same left knee. Slight tear. Since he'll be ready for training camp, I'm only a little concerned. =p

GRIFFIN UNDERGOES SUCCESSFUL SURGERYLos Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin underwent successful arthroscopic surgery today to repair the medial meniscus tear of his left knee which he suffered during Team USA's practice in Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 11th. The surgery was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.
Griffin experienced discomfort following Wednesday's practice in Las Vegas. He underwent a magnetic resonance imaging examination on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles which revealed the injury. MRI data was then analyzed by Clippers' Team Physician, Dr. Steven Shimoyama, and Dr. ElAttrache.
Griffin is expected to be ready for the opening of training camp in the fall.

I think Odom should be prepared to play some major minutes at the beginning of the season

The team president was interviewed at the summer league game today and said It was a minor (arthroscopic) surgery. With Meniscus injuries, the surgeons can repair them, which is the best case scenario or they can remove the torn piece if it's uncorrectable. Blake's meniscus was repaired without removing anything and he'll be ready by training camp. It should take about 6-8 weeks to be fully recovered.

Pie crust injury, 6-8 weeks. Gooey apple stuff would've been a shorter recovery but would impact his future more. Mmm pie.

are certain blake will be 100% by the 1st game?
it looks like it took bled a while to get back to his normal self.
and it also looked like it took cp3 a while to get back to his normal self (injured in 2010...lackluster 2011 campaign but good playoffs).
I guess i know he'll be ready physically....but i guess it's every other loose end I'm worried about
