I'm trying to feel out the interest that you guys have in playing fantasy basketball this year.

The hope would be to have a fantasy basketball draft thread where we make our picks one by one during a set time limit. Check out this thread for reference of the draft selection set up. This way gives us something to do while we wait for the season to start.

I'm not sure what the rules are for talking about other websites, but since the one I am about to talk about is completely different from this I think I am safe. I am on a site called whatifsports.com They have the four major sports, and you use players from the Mikan era to now for the basketball sim. I play the football one a lot, and we have a Yahoo fantasy football league that needs more people. The draft is this Sunday, so if you guys want to jump in, we'd love to have ya. The league # is 657056 and the password is whatif. It won't be a Clippers fan only league but about half and half

Me and MK are signed up so far. If we don't get enough people we may do a points only league and not head-to-head. I have the draft for Sept 5 but I can always change it.

Which site is this? Looks like yahoo but not sure if it's ESPN or NFL?

I'm gonna resign from both. I have a bad time keeping my lineups updated (esp basketball). I suppose because there's no urgency/nothing on the line.

It's typically been Yahoo.

If we would hold the football draft 1 hour late I could join it live.

Anyways, I'm going to edit my pre-draft rankings and hope for the best.

The fantasy football draft is supposed to start tonight but we only have 3 people signed up. I was just curious if more people wanted to sign up on yahoo and/or how much interest there is to have fantasy football this year. Week 1 has already passed so we can have the draft anytime between now and Saturday. As long as Det and MK are interested we can continue with the league and draft.

Sorry if this is long, just simply let me know if you guys still want to draft and have the fantasy football league.

That's the plan.

Though, it's a pretty low number of players currently and we'll have to decide on how to move forward.

If we do want to make a draft like the last couple of years, we'll have to start drafting within about 10 days and expand teams, if there aren't more people interested.

I think we should just expand roster sizes and start the draft in a couple of days.
