Eric Bledsoe leaves Creative Artists Agency

Sources: Ty Lawson, others to leave CAA

Creative Artists Agency, one of the NBA’s leading representation outfits, is losing some of its players in the wake of LeBron James’ decision to sever ties last month.

In addition, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson, Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe and San Antonio Spurs guard Cory Joseph also filed paperwork to leave CAA, according to league sources.

All three are believed to be headed to join the new agency of Rich Paul, who James partnered with during the offseason. Paul represented all three players while working for CAA before leaving to start his own company.

Leon Rose was Bledsoe's agent, but Rich Paul was the person that handled more of the the day-to-day dealings with Bledsoe. Chris Paul (no relation to Rich Paul) is currently still represented by Leon Rose.
