Another first-time visitor to China, Jamal Crawford said “the stage” of the event makes it important. “We’re honored that [China] allowed us to come here,” he added. “The Miami Heat are a championship team, and we aspire to be champions, so I think you’ll see a high-level basketball game here tomorrow night.”
“The exhibition games we’re not game planning as much, we’re not going over personnel for the other team as much,” Griffin said. “But it’s one of those things where we want to work on our game and offensively and defensively work on our schemes and our coverages to help us down the road.”
Head Coach Vinny Del Negro agreed with Griffin’s assessment that at this point in the preseason it’s not about the opponent as much as it is building a foundation heading into the season.
“The last few exhibition games when we get our whole team together, other than obviously Chauncey [Billups], we’ll get a better feel, get some rotations down, get some guys healthy. We’ve put a lot of work in the last week or so. It’s a building process for us and you can’t shortcut it.”

I expect a good hard fought competitive game even w/o CP, Bigshot and possibly Hill.
DJ, Ebled & J Crossover were ballin that last game and Barnes impressed with his hustle and defensive intensity. Hope fattie odom comes to play this time.

Anyone know when the replay will be aired? I wanna try and watch it early... yeah, that's not gonna happen.

It's in the first post. 11:30am and 7:30pm.
I'm going to try to get up early and watch, but I hope it doesn't end up watching me

Looking forward to this one. I expect a lot of highlights. Hate that we can't see CP and Billups in action though.
Was gonna try to work out time differences here in AUS but can't be bothered, I'll probably wake up and the game will be over. Ah well!

Hey mike, what time is it in Australia?
Grant Hill will probably see some minutes today. I totally wasn't expecting that, but I'm looking forward to it.

Anybody that has to rely on a stream to watch the game and is unable to see the game live right now, thefirstrow.eu has an NBATV link that you can probably use to see a replay later on.
DeAndre got a nice little cheer from the Beijing crowd. It was probably the biggest outside of LeBron, Blake and Wade. Battier's was pretty good too.

The Heat are off to a 10-2 lead. We can't buy a bucket or a get into any kind of rhythm. DJ attempted 2 free-throws, one of which was long and the other short. Willie Green....get well soon Chauncey.

LeBron is in mid-season form.
DJ had a nice spin move into a lay in starting at the foul line on Bosh.

Bankshot bingo by Crawford. Hill is in the game for the Clips. He replaced Butler who has been our only bright spot so far (8 points on 3/4 shooting).

29-18 Heat at the end of 1. Miami shows that the Clippers have a long way to go on the defensive end. Our guys are looking lethargic out there, and some of that is to be expected with the time difference. We've been sloppy with the basketball and have 7 turnovers to show for it. It's looks like a team that hasn't been together long.

DJ just airballed a free-throw. He's 0-4 from the line. Blake made both of his on the previous possession.

53-35 Miami at the half. The Clippers scored 3 consecutive 3 point plays (Butler - 3, Crawford - 3, Crawford - 3 FTs).
Both Crawford and Butler have 11 points. Butler has been hands down the best player for us tonight. The team has 15 turnovers, 33.3% shooting (12/36) and is 53.8% from the foul line (7/13). Hopefully things get a little better in the 2nd half, if not, then I wouldn't recommend that anyone catch the replays.
