I will be in town opening weekend for a funeral. We play Golden State that Saturday night. I found some $30 tickets a few days ago. I'm not positive if I will be able to sneak away for a game but I will try if it's a go

good we got some interest! hey tommy i think november 3rd is great for those nearby but it is a bit too early for me as i would have to rearrange some scheduling to make it happen in a week. but would love to see you guys get together for that game first if you or any other would take charge on that.
as for me, i was thinking more in line with january 4th against the lakers or january 5th against the warriors. plenty of time to recruit people, get tickets squared away, and arrange my schedule, flight and lodging issues.
yo azncorruptedo17 sup man if you and tommy want to get that opening game done why don't you two start talking? and Matt if you can arrange the traveling expense (or a job by january to pay for it) i can spot you for the ticket. i am not taking you with me to my hotel after the game either so don't even ask

I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to this one after all. My parents want me to car pool with them to save on gas, so getting up to LA (I will be near Palm Springs for the funeral) might be harder. The man that died was a VERY long time friend of the family. In fact, my Mom used to babysit their kids, so she knew them almost 50 years. Ditching them for a game might be hard that night. It's the Sicilian in me... hard to leave family when they need ya.
I got your email Neddy. I also cleared it with my boss that I will be back at work the 7th. He's checking to see if they are doing anything for us discount wise for the gondolas.

i actually checked it out after you suggested it but a single game suite starts at $1500 and catering costs additional $$$. if you fellas are willing to share the cost, it maybe a much better deal but i would hate to be stuck with a $1500 bill of noshows than a couple of hundred bucks of no show tickets for regular seats.
