I think Blake is better....but I just wanted to know what the actual people who are fans of the clips on this forum think.
Ive been having this debate for like 2-3 months now.

Love is better all around. Blake is beastier. Loves game is boring. Blake's is highly entertaining.

Love is more polished offensively and a better rebounder. Blake is a better defender though and I think has the potential to be a better player. Although he won't be a better shooter or be able to shoot the 3 like Love.

Right now, I'd give the edge to Love just for the type of numbers that he's putting up. He's a beast on the boards like no other. Blake has actually been the better mid-range shooter, but Love is money from the perimeter and at the foul line which contribute to him having a higer TS%. Love has chosen the areas that he wants to focus on and has made those areas his strengths. Blake wants to do a little bit of everything, and that causes him to have to work too hard at times. It may end up better that he wants to be more well-rounded, but the increments of improvement won't be as visible in a short period of time.
As far as upside goes, I like Blake's outlook (and that's not to say I don't like Love's). He's improved on the defensive end. If he can ever get his FT% to respectability and knock down the mid-range with confidence, then he's going to be even more of a monster.
I don't really think that the gap is that big right now and any team would be glad to have either one of them. Love and Aldridge both want to be known as the best power forward in the game. Blake is typically all about the team's success rather than being considered the best power forward. That's not a knock on any of them, but it might shed a little light into the mindset between them, how they approach the game and how they're veiwed publically.

won't argue with any clipper fans.
but explain more polished offensively.
the only thing love does better to me on offense is shoot threes.
his mid range game is meh.
he doesn't have a real post game.
Blake has a higher eFG
and Love had a TS 1% higher this year...which is completely negligible in my eyes...but could mean the world if Love lovers wanna be d***heads.

Love is way more of an allround player on offense.
He's a better shooter(which creates space for him and others) and better at the free throw, at which Blake's sometimes killing us.
I also don't like Blake's footwork in the low post, as he's having a hard time scoring, everytime he can't get by with his athletesicm.

way more of an all around player???? WAY MORE?
explain...shooting threes specifically and free throws are the only categories where I give Love the edge.
I like blake's footwork in the paint and around the basket (there's a difference between us).
blake has like 4 or 5 post moves that I think are plus moves...but he hasn't really made any of them his money move and then added a counter.
anywho....im glad we have blake...and there's no way in hell if I was drafting these two id take love....not even close...the upside isn't close imo

More wellrounded would describe it better IMO.
And being able to hit free throws on a consistant basis isn't something to dismiss, as it costs us games and helps opponents to get back into them.
Griffin's footwork isn't all that good as well, which prevents him from being even more productive.
Those are all things to consider, cause once playoff time starts, the games are more half court oriented which makes it harder for Blake to score.
So as long as Blake doesn't add a solid jumper and converts at least 70% of his FT's, I'd take Love over him.

Love is a better shooter.
Blake is the human highlight/reign man hybrid.
That being said I'd pick #32 over #42.

i really don't see Love as a more well rounded offensive player.
but i guess shooting shooting is a big deal....particularly free throw shooting.

love is a way better offensive presence and rebounder than BG.
bg takes up the lane more, yes. but love can open the lane with his outside shooting as well as take up the lane with his post moves. BG is the better passer out of the post, but love isn't that far behind. Both are unselfish. BG is way more entertaining and athletic, but love gets 20/20s as if he were playing with elementary kids. I'd rather have the ball in love's hands than bg's at the end of the game. if you think bg should have it, i really think you're blind.
i'd still start a franchise with BG, but in terms of who has the overall edge in basketball skills. Love is by far the more polished player. If you take out BG's leap frog abilities, what does he have? BGs post game isn't really the best, and z-bo outrebounded him and he doesn't even jump 3 inches.
BG def demands attention, don't get me wrong, but love demands a lot more attention, from his outside scoring ability, to his rebounding tenacity. But BG is a lot more fun to watch =] highlight reeeeel

Love doesn't have a post game...that's my point.
he shoots threes and gets putbacks.
he doesn't have a mid range game either.
blake's post game isn't great....but it sure is developing...im under a similar theory of MK that blake's post game isn't there yet because he works on 3 or 4 moves at a time instead of just perfecting one and a counter....but his post game/ post footwork is miles ahead of Kevin Love's.
I'm trying to drive the point home that he's only a better shooter....and shoots more than blake does.
but sure...id rather have it in Love's hands...even though Love isn't a guy I trust like that.
thank God for cp3 and jamal

agree to disagree. love is by far the better player of the 2. saying love doesn't have a midrange and only shoots 3s is like saying bg can't make a layup and only dunks.
bg has a higher potential ceiling. and will eventually be better than love, but as it is now... love is the better of the 2
