Now, don't call me crazy. Hear me out on this... I think the Clippers should sign Derek Fisher. I think we should trade Trey Thompkins to another team where he can get some run, we'll get some cash and a switch-'em-2nd rd pick with another team that feels they could use him. Now, I wouldn't even play D-Fish and just let him be the 13th to 15th player on this team.

The reason I would take him right now is for locker-room chemistry. We have great veterans who really help the make-up of our team. CP3 is like an old-guard and has much respect for his peers and it rubs off on our younger players. But you add people like Grant Hill & Wille Green (Yes, WIllie. He's a true professional.) that it rubs off on the other players.

You add Derek Fisher who everyone in the NBA respects, loves and will listen too. He can't hurt us and if something happens to another player and we need someone to step-up, he's always ready for a big shot. I just think bringing in D-Fish would just add to the chemistry of our team and I guarantee an opportunity in a late-game situation during the season would use D-Fish in the play & he would hit it. I see nothing wrong with adding him right now, especially if he knows he will only play in emergency situations.

Nice idea, but, I'm not sure we need his chemistry benefits. The team has great chemistry already.

according to most sources, we paid travis leslie in full before releasing him. that means we have no room to add salary without going over the lux tax even if its a vet's minimum. i don't know if it's wise to ruin 1 year of lux tax status for fisher. we already have great lockeroom vets in grant and chauncy

I dislike Fisher more than any other player in the history of the NBA. So no, please do not sign him. However, I have this awful feeling that he will return to the Lakers along with Jackson and hit a big shot in some crucial game and all the Laker fans will talk about how great Fisher is. I'm already dreading this

I don't really see what the benefit of adding Fisher would be. We would be adding another older player on the team. He can't play defense and is basically a spot up shooter now. He does have tons of experience, but I don't think we need to add him.

The Clips would be much better off signing McDyess or Martin- two guys that could help their weakest spot- bench play in the front court

Ya we've got Chris Paul. Bledsoe. Chauncey. Crossover. Willie. Don't see where he would fit in

If that is all you want from him, hire him in a front office position. I'm still looking forward to next year when Billups takes over as our coach!

It was my bad neddy, going back to graveyard has killed my body, trying to get back to a routine is wearing me down. Doesn't help that my dogs have seen me up and home every day all day and now I am trying to sleep during the day, it has thrown them off too. Hope you had fun and next time I will be more well rested!

hey no problem brother. if i have checked your email on thursday night i probably could have gone over to your work by friday night, but got waaay too wasted for that. i did find a few new spots that i really liked in vegas so i'm sure i will make excuses to head back out there soon or later. by the way for a guy who doesn't gamble, it is hard to find something i like enough to make a trip out there, but glad i did.
