as clipper fans...we're unique.
there have been times where we've been to games and nobody has been at Staples...at the Sports Arena...at the Pond (even though I'm 24...ive been at this for a while)

it's important that we talk about and discuss time "we were there".
while it's something that Lakers and Knicks fans brag about because those games are social events....being "there" is a badge of honor for us.

when were you there?
games...stories...descriptions of the atmosphere.

I was there at the LA Sports Arena when The Clippers played The Chicago Bulls. I was about 7yo at the time. Michael Jordan was off playing basketball, but I didn't care because I was a big time Scottie Pippen fan. He reminded me of a superhero. And, as funny as this may sound now, it was super cool to me how he was 6'7"...I was so used to hearing of players being 6'4", 6'6", 6'8"...but 6'7"...nobody was 6'7"! Sounds absolutely ridiculous now. I came to the game in my Bulls shorts and jersey w/ the number #33 on it.

Always liked Piatkowski. I didn't turn into a full fledged Clipper fan until we drafted Odom in '99. They had the first rendition of "Lob City" with all the athletes on their team (Miles, Q Rich, Dooling, Maggette). Never turned back since.

My only Clippers game ever:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/box ... 10LAC.html
Maggette hit a 3 from 60ft on the sideline on the buzzer to end 3/4 time and win everyone a large fries.

My other 2 NBA games:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/box ... 10SEA.html I got to see Sonics in Seattle. I paid $80 for 12 seats from a dude on the street. Petro was the worst. We joined in with some drunk locals at yelling at him he sucked while he shot free throws.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/box ... 70POR.html -Roy was legit! Shaq was a game time DNP, and Wade was a disgusting flopper. This opened my eyes to superstar calls favouring individuals like nothing I had ever seen. This happened:

The video does it no justice, we thought the crowd was going to riot. It got crazy up in there.

Also saw some 18 year old kid named Chris Paul in this one: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball ... 0401060628

And my other college game was OT too: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball ... 0701130317
Nice pair of Aussie double doubles too.

I've had a pretty good run so far.

I was at the Arrowhead Ponds first event ever. It was a track and field event that consisted of all NBA players. The only reason I went is because it was a Charles Smith event. He was a Clippers team member but I think he just got traded before the event. LOL my most memorable moment was when my friend was insulting John Starks for not signing an autograph some kid asked for. We were in the very front row because it was general seating and of course not very packed.

It's funny Marc Iavaroni was with the Suns that year. Didn't know that.

i told my brother, "baron's gonna get this and win it"

he said nah.
he made it...i didn't even cheer, he's a laker fan, so i just squeezed him real tight...michael corleone-fredo type squeeze and said "let's go"...no kiss though.

was awesome.
