Bledsoe turns 23 today, and he would love to celebrate it with a win. Hopefully the guys didn't party too much the night before.

Home Cookin'
The Raptors feature quite a few players that are Southern California natives.
Landry Fields - Born in Long Beach and grew up in Los Alamitos.
Aaron Gray - Born in Tarzana, but grew up in Pennsylvania.
DeMar DeRozan is straight outta Compton.
Amir Johnson - From the City of Angels and played high school ball at Westchester.
Dominic McGuire was recently waived to free up space for the Raptors to sign Pietrus. McGuire was born and raised in San Diego.

Some of them won't be playing, but those that are should be expected to play inspired basketball in front of friends and family.

Chris Paul says that he loves the early games, because you can play, get a win and enjoy the rest of the day with your family. How have the Clippers fared in the early starts over the last 4 seasons?

2012-13: 2-0 on weekend afternoons this season (Atlanta & Phoenix)
2011-12: 6-1 (note: MLK Matinée included)
2010-11: 5-5 (note: MLK Matinée included)
2009-10: 4-1 (note: MLK Matinée included)
1-0 vs the Raptors (2011-12)

We did a lot better than I thought we did. It seemed like we used to always have lethargic starts in the early games, but maybe that was just in the 2011 season. CP3 loves the early games and has helped us play well in them. Let's hope that continues!

This should be another winnable game this afternoon. I'm glad the starters didn't have to play in the 4th so they'll be ready and rested for today's game. I have to work this afternoon so sadly I'll miss the game. Hopefully we'll come out on top and I won't have anything to worry about.

kinda wanna go to this game. I wanna see how Valanciunas will be against DJ... he's promising center but don't think he's being used right.

25-21 Clippers at the end of 1. We have to shoot better than 36% from the field.

Guys, I'm going to miss the rest of the game.

If we win, can someone do the player of the game thread?

Crawford just missed a free-throw :(

Streak ends at 58, then he misses 2 in a row :nonono:
