As a team, the Clippers have to bully them on the boards, guard the 3 and keep them off of the line. In the first 2 meetings of the season, we outrebounded them 98-71 (Gm1: 46-29; Gm2: 52-42). The Spurs have shot a combined 14 for 43 (32.6%) against us, but are drilling them at a 38% clip on the season. At the foul line, they have attempted 52 free-throws (39/52; 75%) to our 28 (19/28; 67.9%).

As far as player match-ups go, it's always when your bigs are up against Tim Duncan, but the premier battle will be between the 2 point guards. Parker has been on an absolute tear as of late and has posted 29 points, 9 assists on 54.3% shooting in the last 5 games. The 2 point guards have faced each other 36 times in their careers (25 Regular Season, 11 Postseason). Parker's Spurs has defeated Paul in 16 of the 25 regular season meetings, however it is tied 2-2 since Paul has joined the Clippers.

As the season winds down and teams fight for position, these are the games that end up making the difference. This Spurs enter the final leg of their 9-game Rodeo Road Trip having won 5 of their first 6. We should be their first real test as most of the competition has been against sub .500 teams. They'll also be looking to avenge their early season losses to us.

Spurs are never easy^^

Hope we come out firing, if we run these guys we should be able to win. It's about defense, offence will be there.

We are letting the Spurs shoot too well. I don't want the team to get blown out tonight.

Blake's activity on pick and roll defense this season is great, one of the reasons the defense is so improved

3PT defense, the Achilles heel of the Clippers
