How can he run around for 30 minutes and grab 3 rebounds? He has more games like this than is preferable.

It's interesting, his rebound rate has gone down both offensively and defensively. Why exactly, I'm not sure, though he's focusing more on actually trying to defend than just trying to go grab the rebound on the defensive end

Even on a flat tire, he should be able to get more than 3 rebounds in 30 minutes.

I think that his offensive rebounds are down to playing further away from the basket. I agree with og15 that he's focusing more on defending than solely on the rebound. It's something he needs to improve on. It's pointless and deflating to defend for 23.5 seconds and then not get the defensive rebound thus allowing the opposing team to extend the possession. An underrated aspect of defense is actually getting defensive rebounds.

I haven't seen much of late, but a general observation is he does seem to be spending more time in the midrange then in the past. You could put it down to being a result of him developing his mid range j / more stretch 4s in the league, but his numbers have dropped a bit too drastically for that to be the lone cause.

You'd be the guard version of Reggie Evans, though your coach might want you to focus more on contesting shots than crashing the glass. Interestingly enough, if you're not that kind of player habitually, it's actually hard to consistently so that.

It's like moving without the ball, if you really determine to do it, you can do it actively for like two games, three even, but if it isn't instinctive for you, you regress to your norm after a while. Kinds of reminds me of Brandon Jennings streak of being a pass first PG.
