Does CP3 leave if we get eliminated?

More than anything,I'm sure most of us fans want to see CP3 stay and lose in the first round than see him leave and get to the finals. He's our future and the only reason we aren't struggling for playoff action.
He seems to love LA and love the club but will a first round elimination change that?
I would really not care about losing to the Grizzlies so long as I know whether Paul stays or not.Do you guys think he would stay after this first round elimination (we have a 25% chance of beating the grizz though)

he sounded intent on bringing the Clippers specifically a ring before. like that's his priority and as a competitor, it seems like he'd fight for that.

i think he stays.
but there's an outside chance he teams up for the dwight and josh smith thing etc. etc.
if he leaves to do that. peace cp3. no hard feelings, thanks for the 2 years.

Just remember the 2010 Mavericks lost in the 1st round.
it sucks to do so....but in the west, one really good team is going home in the 1st round every year.

no hard feelings?

I don't care who the player is, I don't agree with staying somewhere for 2 years just for like a 'borrowed' time.

I'm sure the chances of him staying are pretty good. He has been winning since he's been here and we still have Blake Griffin. Plus he gets a max contract. CP3 will lose out on a lot if he leaves.

NO but the roster should be partially blown up this offseason outside of Griffin/Crawford and a few reserves i.e. Barnes/LO/Bledsoe/Green oh and we need a new HC.

can we afford howard ? on top of blake/cp3/craw?

was lissening to 710 today. they made point if we get howard and trade blake for parts....

in theory sounds good but love blake to much to do it.

but i really do think 3 of them can work together

F that. I'd take Blake over Dwight 10 times out of 10. Dwight has zero motivation, he's selfish, and only cares about himself. Want nothing to do w him. He can stay in fakerland

Don't lissen to them. Pay attention to the one on my way home cause it has that former charge player that robbed the team blind.

Also as far as d12 goes he is still good defender. With him there zack does t explode. Oh and he is 100TIMES better then dj.

Also don't blame him for the fakers. For years he Carried the magic and got them to finals with garbage:".

Anyone would quit playing with ball haug and a rapist. If they had got cp3 even he would've get along with kb

i want to flip deandre for al horford someway or another...3 or 4 team trade.

i don't mind dwight.
i seriously don't mind a lot of people when pairing them with cp3 because it's cp3's team and i believe in his leadership.
I'd take a run at him and trade Deandre off.

I'm just not sure if we can over-sign early then trade away salary before the year starts.

It's still kobe's team, but D12 did as much as he can to make sure he's becomes more of the center of attention on that team. lol

Just jumping ship over and over is the worst way to win a championship. I think Paul knows that. He just played with a 56 win team that had some roster balance issues, and has a coach that is mediocre at best.

He loves the city, seems to like his teammates. It makes much more sense to see what the effect of Griffin working on his game this summer, a new coach, and tweaks to the roster can accomplish, as opposed to trying to just tag on somewhere else.

The team has good pieces to be great, they just need to balance things out, and get the right coaching. Let's first see what happens in the next two games, but let's say it isn't the result we want.

Trade Options:
DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe, Caron Butler, Draft Pick

Relevant FA Options:
Samuel Dalembert, Elton Brand, Jermaine O'neal, Zaza Pachulia, DeJuan Blair, Martell Webster, Kyle Korver, Dorrell Wright, Wayne Ellington (RFA), O.J. Mayo, J.J. Redick, Beno Udrih, Shaun Livingston

Team FA's other than Paul:

Lamar Odom, Chauncey Billups, Ronny Turiaf, Ryan Hollins, Matt Barnes

Team Salary: $45.3M (+cap hold on Paul = ~$68M)

Possible Trade Scenarios:

Front-court Issues

1) Three way trade that lands Channing Frye and the 4th pick
LAC: Eric Bledsoe + Caron Butler + 25th Pick
NOH: Eric Gordon
PHO: Channing Frye + 4th Pick

LAC: Channing Frye + 4th Pick
NOH: Eric Bledsoe + Caron Butler
PHO: Eric Gordon + 25th Pick

Risk: Channing Frye hasn't played in a year, so while he should recover and be fine, you are taking the chance of him not being as productive as you would like.

Contraindications: How tightly is Phoenix holding on to their draft pick? Seems to make sense to trade the 4th pick and Frye for Gordon though. Does New Orleans want Bledsoe?

    Roster:
    Paul (20M) /
    Green / Crawford
    4th pick?
    Griffin / Frye
    Jordan / Frye
    Other: 2nd round pick
    Salary: $63.6M + 4th pick ($3.1M) = $66.7M (7 players)

2) If you want to be a little more daring:
LAC: Bledsoe + DeAndre Jordan + 25th pick
NOH: Eric Gordon + Jason Smith
PHO: Channing Frye + 4th pick

LAC: Channing Frye + 4th pick + Jason Smith ($8.9M)
NOH: Eric Bledsoe + DeAndre Jordan ($13M)
PHO: Eric Gordon + 25th Pick ($14M)

You then go pick up another more adequate C in the FA market. New Orleans would have the room since they just traded a $14M player, and DJ's contract is only for two more seasons.

    Roster:
    Paul (20M)/
    Green / Crawford
    Butler / 4th pick
    Griffin / Smith
    Frye / Smith
    Other: 2nd round pick
    Salary: $60.6M + 4th pick salary ($3.1M) = $63.7M (8 players)

You fill out the roster with FA's:
Scenario 1:
Matt Barnes ($2M)
Shaun Livingston ($1.1M)
Korver ($3M)
Turiaf ($1.1M)

    Paul / Livingston
    4th Pick / Crawford / Green
    Barnes / Korver
    Griffin / Frye
    Jordan / Frye / Turiaf

Scenario 2:
Jermaine O'neal ($1.4M)
Matt Barnes ($2M)
Shaun Livingston ($1.1M)

    Paul / Livingston
    4th pick / Crawford / Green
    Butler / Barnes
    Griffin / Frye
    O'neal / Smith
