I loved him for a long time,he was exciting and promising. But now I feel that not only does he not care about improving as a player, but he is also holding Blake back.

yes. we need a guy who can stretch the floor for blake, not blake stretching for DJ. i don't expect mark price sharpshooting out of a center position, but just hitting 50% on the FTs would be nice.
BTW, how can you have been a clipper fan for little less than a year and say, you have loved DJ for a long time?

I was born and raised in England and then I went to this unknown country in Europe (I won't mention as to not offend some fans) and I always preferred English over my native tongue and reallly learnt the language well

If Jordan were to be traded, I've been thinking about involving him in a deal for Anderson Varejao. The Cavs have explored shopping him, but with Kyrie Irving already on the roster, I'm not sure mini-Lebron Bledsoe would interest them as he would most likely have to be involved in such a deal. Plus, there is concern over Varejao's health.
Another option would be to sign Greg Oden to what is anticipated to be an inexpensive contract. If healthy and in the right frame of mind--BIG if's--he'd provide the defensive presence necessary for a championship-level squad akin to a Tyson Chandler or Joakim Noah. Obviously, this is not a reliable option given his choice as an UFA and his history of injury proneness and bouts with depression and alcoholism.

Wasn't there a rumor about a deal around DJ/Varejao before Varejao was hurt? From what I recall, the Cavs wanted Bledsoe to be included and the Clippers' interest waned as a result.
I like Varejao and he's the type of player that can help any team. His health is a huge concern. He's played a total of 81 games over the last 3 seasons. He was playing the best ball in his career and his rebound numbers were ridiculous. He could definitely help this team if he could stay on the court.
I think every fan would like their team to take a chance on Oden to see if he pans out. He finally waited to fully recover from the microfracture (instead of returning too soon), and he's only 25. He's been linked to Cleveland, Miami and previously the Pacers. He's showed up around the Blazers and Grizzlies (because of Conley) this season. I think he'll end up on the team that can give him the best opportunity to prove himself and potentially play his way into a decent contract. Right now, that may be Cleveland. I'd love for the Clips to take a chance on him though.

He will be traded, I bought his jersey last month so that's usually the end of a players Clipper career. Brand, Maggette, Gordon all with 6 months and Baron order got cancelled 3 months in advance.
Griffin is the exception, fingers crossed.

Where in the world does anyone get "he does not care about improving as a player" from. There is nothing he does that indicates that, actually everything indicates the opposite. I don't even know how people come up with this stuff.
The reason he would be traded is to get better fits for the team, not because there are any questions about his work ethic.
Varejao is too injury prone.

Yes. We need a full-fledged post player. I want Al Jefferson if he can be had. Not sure of his contract situation or what the Jazz would be looking for.

Al Jefferson is a free agent, getting him isn't an option

I doubt Orlando trades him. I don't think Bledsoe and DJ would be enough. Maybe if we took Hedo of their hands...

i was very interested in this deal about a couple of weeks ago, but i could not find any reason to make me believe this was a possibility. just think about it, vucevic is younger, he is cheaper, and unlike DJ, he is a productive player. why would they give up a player that is younger, cheaper, and better? for bledsoe? yes but not while getting dumped on by DJ's contract. only way we can pry him outta there is to have us get dumped on salaries while at it. but hedo's deal is expiring, while DJ is not. still makes more sense for them to hold on to hedo, let that expire and see what they can do in 2014's FA class.
but don't get me wrong, i am saying i don't see it being a realistic option because it is way too single sided, but that doesn't mean i don't want to rape the magic's roster for vucevic.

can't we amnesty Hedo if we trade for him...sort of like the Knicks did Chauncey?
or is t hat different because Chauncey played out the the rest of the 2011 season with the Knicks?
im interested in dealing with the Magic because Afflalo has a nice salary cap number too.
so Vucevic or not, we need to be on the phones with them and thinking about the possibility of eating Hedo's 12 mill.
