his percentages were up from 10-15 and 16-23.
both at 50%.
but his 3 ball was a low 32.8%.
anybody think his thumb played a huge role in his poor 3 point shooting?
anybody have a significant breakdown of significant splits that would suggest he was getting better as the year went on?....or any kind of indicator to any kind of trend.
he was money to me from 3 in 2012....this year...not so much.
i need him to get it back.
thoughts?

I realised as well,I always hate him taking threes because of this.
He would be that much more deadly with a good trey-ball

This was his 2nd lowest 3PT% of his career and his worst since his rookie season. He recently said that he was going to change his game up. I figure that he plans to be more aggressive. Perhaps he's planning to improve his shooting to make it more of a weapon. The theme of the offseason has been to improve the team's shooting. We've done it externally, but maybe it's an internal goal as well.

The pass few seasons prior to this one he shot pretty decent from three, he just needs to get to the high 30% range again...

i think he'll be fine. i don't think vdn really put him in positions that would give him comfortable shots from the outside.
i'm sure this will change now.

Chris also shoots a lot of his 3PT shots off the dribble or coming off the pick and roll, so he isn't shooting a ton of spot up three's, but he shot 37.4% between his sophomore year and 11-12, so it was definitely a down year.
I think he should be back up next season, but hopefully he also plays more aggressively on a consistent basis
