I think it is probably about 90% accurate. The past few seasons it seems like there are always 2-3 games that the law doesn't work for;usually close games 96-94 where the lead keeps changing on possessions.
Lawler's Law has a great ring to it.

It's interesting that somebody took the time to analyze The Law. From what is said on tv, it's usually has a 92% or so success rate. I think that's great for something that is said in fun.

Ralph is one of the best that there is and is often overlooked in basketball due to the success of the franchise and in the city of LA due to some of the other great announcers. The average NBA fan may not be familiar with all of the Lawlerisms, but "Lawler's Law", "Bingo" and "Oh Me, Oh My" are sayings that most fans (who watch a good amount of basketball) know.

I hate that. Last season I got into a debate with some random team fan on GB because his team (Utah maybe?) had scored 100 vs some other random team (Wolves?) and Lawler's Law was in effect.
