Jamal Crawford does not seem happy

Have you seen his tweets since the JJ Redick trade? He keeps giving hints that he doesn't want to come off the bench anymore. He seems pissed off that Redick will take minutes away from him. Last year, he didn't mind being the 6th man because he knew Billups and Green were not threats to his playing time. Redick definitely is, though.

Remember when he was interviewed and he said that he wants to be a clipper forever? Check this tweet out:

"@IndianasFinest_: @JCrossover If you could pick, what team would you retire on?"--good question, ill let u know in 6 years.

Dude does not like the signing of Redick at all. Just read his recent tweets.

It's been a concern of many fans. He used to be so positive in his tweets. They're now a little more cryptic.

He does have a little more competition for playing time and he's being relegated to the bench again. He is also getting another coach, and he has never played for the same coach twice in his career. He thrived under the role that VDN gave him, so there's probably an uneasiness of transitioning from that to a coach that will harp on the team being more disciplined.

I thought it was a great gestured by Blake to participate in Jamal's ProAm this month. Blake doesn't really play in them, but he made the exception for a teammate. My hope is that it would help rein him back in if there was in fact some hurt feeling's on Jamal's part. We'll see.

The funny thing about Redick is that he is one of the few teammates that Jamal has tweeted this summer.

I like Crawford and what he can provide for the team. He's more valuable to the team off of the bench where he is essentially the 1st option. If there is in fact a problem that carries over into the season, then I hope the FO would consider moving him to help us in the front court.

Can't wait for this season..

Cant tell anything from trying to play twitter physic because its nothing but a snippet of someone time throughout a long day in which you dont know whats going on where they are at .

One thing I do know is that Jamal played behind Joe Johnson in ATL and still got minutes I dont think hes that worried about JJ Reddick .However I do think he was promised a chance to start this year after Chauncey left by Vinnie Del Negro and so hes probably gonna come in and expect to be given a chance to compete which is what most nba rotation players players would want when spots open up

I read on some site that Doc Rivers watched every game if so does anyone really believe he did and has seriously decided to reduce Jamals minutes after the year and impact he had ?

Agreed that twitter's almost impossible to read into. Unless an article comes out I think Jamal's ok, following him on twitter he is one of the RARE players that just answer everything honestly.. he tells it like it is..

so yeah, he might miss starting but I don't think he feel's 'threatened' by Redick or dislikes the Redick signing. If anything it'll drive Crawford more. He's said he loves being a Clipper more than once, I think he's happy here.

He knows he wouldn't get that many freedom/shots if he didn't come off the bench, which would make his stats go down and diminish his chances at a good contract when this one's up. I don't think he has a problem with being the 6th man.

But he probably won't end most games from now on, we knew we weren't going nowhere with Crawford playing crunch minutes come playoff time. His defense is a weak spot that good teams would punish us with. He's great at his role and I think he's gonna continue to be really useful even with his major flaws, but if he's suddenly not buying into his role or not contributing to team chemistry, well he knows he's probably the most attractive trade piece we have right now.

he better. He had a very good season last season. He should see crunch time minutes too because he makes big shots. Yes, his defense can be sub-par, but it isn't as bad as some people believe it is and Redick is no lock down defender either
