Went to the team scrimmage yesterday... our 2nd group can def keep up with our starters, i'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing? 2nd team won by 2, blake missed 2 free throws that would have tied the game with 6 secs left (no clutch gene apparently). DJs free throw stroke looks really legit. Byron Mullens sucks.

2nd group was obviously playing much harder and that should explain the loss.
How did DJ do from the line?

don't think it was the 'much harder' part.. 1st team had some errors that they shouldn't be doing and the 2nd team was way more fluid and active on both sides. no JJ/Barney/Bullock tho. Team looks great overall.
DJ went 2/2. blake 0/2 i think.

I went too. The second unit's perimeter players kept up with the first unit, but that shouldn't be surprising. Collison and Wayns seem to be really good players to have during practice to keep CP3 challenged.
Yeah, Blake's free throw form looked off. He also landed weird on the last play when he tried to dunk it over Mullens?
Mullens does look pretty bad... Seems slow and he pops too often on the pick. Jamison has a sweet jumper though.

yeah guys who went, how bad did Blake's knee injury look??
It really sucks with Redick out and us starting Green, reminds me all of last season again with Billups.
We need to be healthy to gel properly, now Blake is hurt/out. I hope he just sits for the pre season

Blake Griffin injures left kneeGriffin didn’t practice Thursday, and there is no timetable for his return to practice.
Griffin was injured while driving to the basket after he was fouled by Lou Admundson.
Griffin stayed down on the court for a while before getting up to shoot two free throws.
The Clippers practice again Friday before they leave later that night for an exhibition game in Utah against the Jazz on Saturday night.
From the sound of things, Griffin probably won’t play in that game.
“Blake hurt his knee, but it was nothing bad,” Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said before the team practiced on Thursday. “But he tweaked it. It was on the dunk attempt. He said he did it going up. So he’s out.”

He was hobbling and took a breather, but he shot the FTs after and he was able to put weight on it. I thought it was the way he landed but then the article said it was on his way up so I dunno. It didn't look too serious but neither did that meniscus injury when he first got injured.... but it did look like a tweak and nothing more. I'd say he sits out the whole preseason.

as long as he's 100% for the season opener

I'd rather him sit out now as opposed to later.
