Yeah negative X-rays on a knee injury doesn't really mean much, it's the MRI that's the tell. That being said, a meniscus is a much better result than ACL or MCL.

Hopefully the tear isn't too bad and he can get to recovery soon.

That's about a month of the season at most. The question is will he make the team?

Terrible timing he was playing very well.

That sucks. Not the greatest player but I was rooting for him. Wish him a speedy recovery

Apparently it actually helps his chances. Steve Perrin (aka Clipper Steve) did some investigating and found that Wayns' contract becomes fully guaranteed if he is not waived by or on December 1st. If you waive a player that is injured, he becomes fully guaranteed. 6 weeks from now puts him right around that guarantee date.

At the very least, it's likely that Wayns enters the season on the Clippers' roster. Amundson and Davies are fighting for the final spot if the Clippers decide to roll with 15 to start the season.

if that's the case... amundson would probably get the spot. he's that big man we need more than davies
