Sounds like shades of the Magic-Bird rivalry between two highly competitive playmakers: the league's best point guard versus possibly its most deadeye shooter. Hopefully, it'll serve us well in LAC's own version of a "dream team". :olympics:

Marc Spears, Yahoo! Sports (10/17/13)
Said Paul: "Before I got to know him he was no friend of mine. It is what it is. But that's how it was in college."

The boiling point between Paul and Redick came in the summer of 2004 when both were counselors at the Jordan Brand Camp in Santa Barbara, Calif. During a scrimmage between the two, Redick become so irritated that he struck Paul.

"I actually had to apologize to him," Redick said. "…I put my hands on him during a game. It was a hand to the face type of move. I don't know how to describe it.

"We were in the dorm at UC Santa Barbara, and I was told I had to apologize to him. I knew he didn't like me then, but he did [accept the apology]."

Redick also knows why he and Paul didn't get along.

"We didn't like each other," he said, "because we were both so damn competitive."

Nice history lesson. I'm anxious to see them on the court together. It'd be nice if got a few preseason games under their belts before the start of the season.

Watch Chris walk away like it ain't no thing. He's got quite a bit of that Bird swagger in him.

That's an NBA ad, so I'm not sure it's real. They did the same sort of ad with Lebron a while back.

There's also one I remember, but can't seem to find on youtube, where they advertised the slam dunk contest a few years ago. While another player is giving a seemingly unrelated interview, we see Jeremy Evans apparently dunk from the 3 point line (I think it was a reverse jam too). Needless to say, we didn't see that dunk at the contest.
