Whilst i enjoy watching clippers game they're not my favorite team and I wanted to take true fans perspectives on whether they think Barnes should start or not?

No, stop it with the overreactions. Dudley is the better player and the better fit with the starting line up, while Barnes is also a better fit with the bench unit.

My background: Cs fan, live in LA, hate Lakers and followed/supported Clips ....

For this season based on Doc's arrival...:

This is just the beginning. Doc is way overrated and you will see over the period.

He will bring the worst from every player. Will not play rookies unless blowout. Favor only high profile players. Will try to be a nice guy but not the right guy.

Last season Clips had Del Negro but Clippers game felt free flowing. They were amazing. Bench was terrific.

I see stats dropping all across the board (players, team level). Wins will be tough.

Yesterday's game, Clips seemed lost in the late part of the game. Doc has no strategy (as usual).

I know this is just one game but will see...

You can't possibly be saying VDN is a better coach than Doc. That's just absurd.

I feel more comfortable with Barnes in the starting lineup at least until Dudz figures out how to make a jumpshot or cut to the basket for an easy layup :nonono:

I've watched many dudley games in the past and its just a general statement not because he played one bad game.

Then why did you need to make a new account just to post this question if you already knew you're own answer?

Because personally I think Barnes would be a better fit than dudley
And DC, Crawford, dudley, Jamison would be a deadlier bench in my opinion

Dudley is a vastly superior shooter to Barnes, he's as good a cutter as him (and that's Barnes' biggest strength) and he's probably a better position defender as well, at least a more poised one who isn't gonna take any risks. But the main thing is that we need weakside shooters on the starting line up, so that there's good spacing and the Paul-Griffin P&R is free of help defenders. So yeah, there's no argument at all for Barnes to start over Dudley. Barnes is the more active guy, will take risks on defense, which sometimes lead to highlight plays that hype the team up, which is perfect for us coming off the bench.

I find it funny that all the Boston fans who claim to know everything about Doc splurt the same nonsense about him not playing rookies, riding KG/Thibs coattails, not having an offense, etc. yet none of them can argument a real reason to support those cliches.
