just posted this in general, wanted to hear what you LAC fans thought about this
it only makes sense from a basketball standpoint as well as business. Aquiring P.Gasol would instantly make them a better basketball team. He can still give you 16+ a night, even at mid30 minutes.
They can get rid of Jordan or Griffin inorder to clear up space. Hpow muhc is DeAndre making? I am sure P.Gasol is willing to take a small paycut in order to play for a title contending team. And although I say small, it wouldnt be that big of a hit, prolly 2-3m less than what he is currently making. I think DeAndre is making 8per and Gasol is making 11 per.
If LAC can move jordan or Griffin and aquire Gasol, they can contend for a title moreso than they can now. It would be an extremely good fit and it isnt far fetched.

We'd take blake over Pau any day of the week.
We'd also take an improving young Jordan over an injury prone Pau.

I'd probably consider switching teams if Gasol was a clipper

Nobody is trading a 25 year old Blake or DJ for a 34 year old Pau Gasol.
A $3M paycut means that Gasol is still making $16M+ per year. Nobody is going to pay him that much next year regardless of if re-signs with the Lakers or some other team signs him.
Lastly, there is a trade thread that is stickied at the top of this forum. Please use it in the future
