went* with jcross. although DJ had a monster game imo, Jcross picked up a lot of what we would get from CP

with CP and JJ out, we all knew Jcross would have a big game, but none of us thought it was DJ who would come through with 1 block away from a triple double, the hard way. 10 pts, 15 rebounds, and 9 block shots are numbers legends are made of.

I had to mull this one over. I told myself that I would give it to DJ no matter what if he got a triple double with blocks. That didn't happen so I had to think about it. Crawford had a great game. In my opinion, more amazing than the 31 points (which we know he is capable of) are the 7 rebounds and 11 assists. He's known as pretty much a one dimensional player. He put up CP numbers along with his scoring.

I went with DJ though. 5 missed FT's is bad, but the guy made up for it on the glass with 6 extended possessions by offensive rebounds or tap backs plus 9 blocks. Doc called it a Russell-type game. Deke-type numbers. That's not something you see every night and it was needed just as Crawford's points were. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

Crawford and DJ had the better numbers, but Crawford nearly shot us out of the game. Boy is our offense ugly when all he's doing is take contested long 2s while everyone stands around. DJ blocked a lot of shots but it seemed like he was being scored at at will at the end of the game. I'll go with Blake, he had another one of those quiet but effective games he's been having lately, and at times looked like the only guy putting any effort on D.

But really what this game showed is how freaking much we depend on Paul
