JJ targeting Jan. 15 return

Post#1 » by Quake Griffin » Sun Dec 1, 2013 6:18 pm

damn

The Los Angeles Clippers announced today that guard J.J. Redick suffered a fracture in the small bone (pisiform) of his right hand and a tear of his right ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in the second quarter of the Clippers 104-98 win over Sacramento on Nov. 29.

Redick is expected to miss approximately 6-8 weeks, and will be re-evaluated on Monday, Dec. 2 by hand specialist Dr. Steve Shin to determine further course of treatment.

Dang, we just may see the blossoming of Reggie.
I still think we will be looking at CP3, JJ, Reggie, Blake & DJ as are starters by the end of the season.

i knew it as soon as i saw him fall and not get up right away. i've had that exact same fall and break 16 years ago.

we are gonna be okay, we have been in this situation before, we can handle an injury. what bothers me is that nobody on our team is willing to do the same to cousins or outlaw. we need to retaliate doublefold.
ehhhhh f it.

Haters celebrate the actions of people like Cousins, but his foolishness is not good for the game of basketball.

He needs to be humbled.

One of the big men needed to put him on his ass right after that happened. Preferably Hollins or Mullens- wouldn't miss either guy if suspended. This team needs to make a statement that it won't be bullied any more. Some people think that Cousins didn't do that on purpose. Considering his a-hole attitude and recklessness of the action, I think retaliation would be justified.

Not the news I was looking for :(

But I guess we can look at it this way, better that this happen early in the season than March or April

I wonder if Jason Kapono or Matt Carroll still play. If so, perhaps they could be signed up if Green doesn't start to play better. Need 2 reliable 3 point shooters in the starting line up in this day and age of over-emphasis on the 3 point shot

That's a big punch in the face for us, and right before a big road trip too. One in which we're gonna have to play in Memphis and Brooklyn on back 2 back nights no less. I'm all for Reggie having court time to develop but with tha way the west is shaping this year, a few unexpected losses and we'll be playing San Antonio or OKC in the first round :-?

Totally Agree. Realistically we should be aiming for either 4th or 3rd seed if we want to get out of the first round. It's going to be very close with teams like Houston, GSW and Dallas who are improving.
