Willie being moved to the bench in favor of Crawford. I'm not mad at the move. I like Crawford coming off of the bench, but Green isn't playing like he did last season as a starter.
To me, Redick is the straw that stirs the drink. His presence is hugely underrated by the public imo. His shooting and his movement really help make the offense what it was. Since he went down, things went stagnant. Guys are standing around and we're having to work harder for baskets. It could be another month or it could be sometime in February before he gets back. The team will have to work through his absence, but I expect a resurgence when he returns and returns to form. Perhaps some of the external dialogue will shift as well.

oh man, with JCross on the starting lineup, what exactly do we have on the bench? Darren Colllison, Grover, Jax, Jamison and Hollins?

just to rant and off topic, i am so sick and tired of New York area morons who thinks the NBA revolves around the Knicks. just like the laker fans, they think the world will bend over for their need. i can't wait for Carmelo's contract to be over, so he would finally move on or sign an extension that will keep him there for life and stop all these nonsense trade talks and proposals all over the internet that seem to have infiltrated even realGM regarding blake.

Well, if you remember, weren't there fans of a particular fanbase that were hoping to get Blake for Howard? To me it's funny that so many people have proposed it like it's an original idea. It won't happen and would be vetoed by the Donald if it got even remotely close to happening.
So many people coming to convince us that Melo is the answer to all of our problems despite him not actually solving the true areas of weakness that this team has or adding new weaknesses by his inclusion. He isn't doing much for the Knicks in a weak Eastern conference, but is enough to make the Clippers favorites in a much tougher western conference. Say what? It's hilarious to me.

Dudley has hit 4 of his first 5 shots and leads all in scoring with 9.

glad the real clipper fans tend to have unanimous feelings about these idiocy. and yes, i remember all the "blake for Howard" or "blake for Gasol" ideas thrown around by that one particular losing franchise who dwell on 16 flags from the past. it is disappointing tho, i used to think the New York area fans were more knowledgeable than the other fan base who tend to be oblivious to facts such as Collective Bargaining Agreements.

oh god they are really considering a flagrant on that play? i miss the 80s NBA where robert parrish and bill laimbeer would exchange punches while ball was up for a rebound and no calls were made. this is as soft as major league making home plate collisions unlawful. MLB didn't flinch when Ray Fosse's career was cut short by Pete Rose, but no, how dare we hurt Buster Posey... keep the game as it always has been!!!

I don't want to lump them all together. They've had some fans basically tell the trade proposal fans that they were getting their hopes for nothing. It's not a good look for the more reasonable fans.
Once the deadline passes, we won't have to read or hear anything about it. I feel bad for their fans for the most part. Some bad decisions have hurt their flexibility to make improvements.

the common denominator of the knicks' futility is James Dolan. sons of successful men do not ever become a part of any solution, from what i have seen in my lifetime.

Definitely on Dolan. I do think that he got it right on nixing the Lowry deal though.

59-46 Clippers at the half. 17 assists (on 21 field goals) to 4 turnovers. Things can go well when you minimize your mistakes

Only 7 bench points and Crawford has the lowest scoring total amongst the starters with 5 points. The other 4 starters each have at least 8 points.
If I recall correctly, Wall recently made a comment about being the best PG in the game. Chris looks like he has something to say about that, but more importantly he's just trying to get the W. Prior to the game, CP3 declared this game as a must win.

that's because Dolan recognized getting fleeced by Ujiri in Melo deal. Carmelo made it public that he wanted to go to NY anyway upon the closure of his existing contract with the denver, but Dolan didn't have patience to sit back and wait, that he had to give up a huge asset to get Melo in New York a few months early. imagine if the knicks did keep all of their assets and signed Melo. that team would have been stacked that they could have made any deal with any team to make it a true contender. instead, they lost Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Timothy Mozgov, 2014 first round pick, two second round picks, and a right to swap 2016 first rounder, and gave up anthony randolph to Minnesota. yes losing eddy curry didn't hurt, and they got raymond felton back eventually, but if they had all their pieces and signed Melo, they could have traded all of those assets to fill the need, have all their picks intact, and have a bench that is deep and capable.
Glad with all of his faults, Donald didn't have to be fleeced to learn his lesson.

CP has 18 points and 9 assists with two steals in a half. i'll say he is making a point to a youngster.

up by 22 with that 3 by jamal, all 5 starters are in double digit in scoring and Paul is in for a big night so far. looks like both DJ and blake are in for a double double, unless Doc pulls them both for the rest of the game.
