Clippers win number 20 despite many odds stacked against them. Very frustrating game to watch for many reasons, but the result was oh so satisfying.

BG FTW

Despite not being in the game at the end of regulation and overtime, I have to give it to Blake Griffin since he kept us in it when everyone else, including Chris Paul, was struggling. Aside from that numbskull move to foul Love at the end of the first half, Blake did pretty much everything else right.

went CP for the defense on Martin to get him to cough the ball up and the FTs down the stretch.

would have been Blake had he finished the game.
but he didn't finish and their bigs feasted.

I am undecided. I wanna say Blake but he did foul out and got torched(not all his fault though Love did make tough shots). I like Collison as a choice. Dudley didn't shoot well but got 4 steals and made a crucial 3. Hmmm.

Blake for me I wanted more from Paul throughout the game.

gotta be BG.

CP pissed me off all game... you can't be a superstar and not get 17+ pts in regulation... Blake kept us in it.

Pek/Love tho, gdamn that's the ish i'm talkin about.. if we face a great front court, we got severe issues. glad we walked out of this one with a win, but that's the 2nd bullet we've dodged with minny

edit: jcross and collison stepped it up big, dudley got us a shot when it mattered, great TEAM win... but blake and jcross held the team's hand for the most part

Exhibit A in the Case for BG

The play of the night was obviously the Paul-Crawford steal at the end of regulation, but consider that NBA.com's Nightly Notable featured Blake Griffin and not Kevin Love despite his monstrous statline.

Solid team win. Plenty of bs foul calls and that flagrant 2 on Barnes was asinine.

the man who stole that ball with 7 seconds to go to tie the game deserves every bit of this award. Blake wasn't even in the overtime. blake needs to learn how to mange his fouls better, even if the refs are trying their best to manage the vegas spread.

i would agree.... but i think when i looked up in the 4th quarter, cp3 had 6 points before finally going off? I understand brewer was guarding him and we weren't hitting our open shots, but at some point, you gotta take that shot instead of passing it off to someone that's been missing. he could have helped BG with some scoring too lol.

on the play bg fouled out, i was just saying... "don't bite for the pump blake, don't bite for the... damnit he's out." lol

CP3 took a lot of shots but bricked them. It had nothing to do with aggression and at no point did he even go off. Actually it might have been better to pass the ball off considering he was missing the most out of everyone on our team but he tried to shoot himself into a rhythm instead. Most of his points came off of the few layups/floaters he could get. One was a tip in and 5 points came from the Wolves fouling him in the final 20 seconds.

Even KD was 6/14 and 5/16 for back to back nights and he is a 6'10 SF whose job is to score. Its a non-issue to be honest players go into shooting slumps all the time.

Really the biggest problem was letting Love and Pek combine for almost 80 points. I don't think Love scoring 45 was BG's fault. Love made tough shots but DJ definitely could have done better on Pek.
