Your average shoulder sprain takes 7-21 days to heal, this is without the state of the art medic squad helping so Paul should be back in around 7-18 days in my opinion, unless it's serious, then it means surgery

EDIT:
Well s**t

let's just hope it's not surgery.

but I have a separated shoulder than has gotten progressively worse over 5 years...i probably need surgery now....
it's freaking excruciating.
and mine got separated reaching low for a bounce pass...completely random...no war story about getting tackled or running into a wall.

i'd rather roll my ankle tbh.

:censored:

man this is equivalent of saying the 90's bulls without Jordan is better off because there no longer is a ball hog on the floor, or saying Magic-less 80's lakers will be better off because there is no ball dominant PG.

come on man.

anywho, as i posted in the game thread, a shoulder sprain automatically refers to a ligament damage, either a tear or pull. 3-5 weeks healing is a MINIMUM estimation for a basketball player. when some sites may indicate a person returning to work within 2 weeks, they are talking about office workers who are not a professional athlete. shoulder strain will require a complete recovery to play basketball at a NBA level. i fully expect CP3 to be out at least a week or two after JJ returns, which would mean just that, 3 to 5 weeks.

Hey guys, OKC fan, just heard the news, sorry to hear about the loss, hopefully he's back soon. Sucks all the top western PGs are going down. Best of luck.

Saddest part IMO it looks like he got hurt on a semi flop. Oh well. Get well soon. Time for DC and Malik the Freak

what a bad timing too. i wanted to cut wayns before his contract was guaranteed to open up a roster spot in the worst way until this......

thanks, and good luck to you guys with westbrook... although i can't say that i wish your team to do well without him... it seems we are in a worse predicament as westbrook is your second best player, whereas CP3 is our best player, but appreciate your classy fandom.

Yeah, slightly different, but KD and the whole offense is painful w/o Russ. Best wishes.

typically the stuff that annoys me.

they dealt with a bunch of injuries and a hamstring from Iggy that kept him out 12 games.
i couldn't even imagine getting the nerve to start talking ish about injury of all thing.

It was a shame in the sense he was 5/6 from deep during the game but I'm not worried at all. In fact i'm hoping the team uses this stretch to develop some mental toughness like we showed against Dallas.

Just hope collision steps it up. Been bit disappoint by my expectation.

He has had this chance before and If I am not wrong he filled in nicely for cp3 before

Having him back in time for Miami and/or Portland would be great. If that's not possible, hoping he'll be 100% right after the ASG. At least those knees will get some rest in the meantime.

I'll take all these hand/eye/shoulder injuries during the early part of the season if it means everyone will be good to go in the second half and playoffs. And although this will hurt us fighting for the top 4 seed, I am kinda looking forward to everyone else stepping up.

Obviously, Collison will need to make the biggest adjustment, especially with his D and sharing the ball. I wasn't crazy about how him and Jamal played together in the second unit, we'll see how that goes until Reddick returns (hopefully ASAP).
From the few games I've seen him play in, Wayns seemed to be a pretty good playmaker, so I think he could do a decent job with the second unit. Bullock returning should also help.
