I doubt defense will be his calling this is another search for offense from the back up 4 spot. We are getting nothing from Jamison,Mullens, or Jackson and it wouldn't make sense to bring him in at SF with Dudley, Barnes and eventually Bullock. Doc may need to hang up his GM cap role after this season because this has been a mass cluster.

It's been all downhill for Turkoglu in the last 5 years. Hope the Clips aren't too serious about him.

He's done guys, hate to say it since he was such an important part of the Magic contending squads but his career is over. And no, he couldn't defend the post when he was at his best.

Hope we do not sign Hedo. His best years are behind him.

Always been a fan of Turk myself but its another small experiment we hope pans out. We need to get a set roster that we want by the all star break.

Might be a good pick up if he still can ball.

Sources say Hedo Turkoglu is on his way to Los Angeles and is expected to meet with the Clippers tomorrow.

You are not gonna find a SF for 4 million a year better than him. Or close to it.

Hopefully he can continue to stay consistent. Don't ask for 20 plus per game but getting the team a nice 12 would be great for his role. I can live with 10ppg if he can continue to up his defense and be more aggressive rebounding.

Yeah he's been a little inconsistent this year, when consistency was a strength for him, but he's a cerebral player and his shot is still falling so I wouldn't worry for him. He's having to do a bit more than he's able to because of the injuries but I trust him to improve his play a lot as the season unfolds.
I don't like some fans frustration with him, he's a low salary player that's had to deal with being one of the lowest usage starters in years to start the season, and hasn't complained even when struggling to find his rhythm. Now all of a sudden he's having to penetrate and distribute the ball, and other things out of his skillset, and he hasn't complained either. I like the dude a lot.
Back to Hedo, WTF? why would we want him, even if he wasn't completely broken down, unmotivated and 2 years without playing profesisonal basketball?

I agree that the Clippers have bigger priorities than the 3 position- particularly back up 4/5 and finding a decent back up point guard while CP3 is out- I don't think Morris or Wayns are answers.

I would have to believe if Hedo was here he would be back-up 4 and doing what Blake does setting up the offense throw him with the second unit.
