Clippers on a row

Sometimes I wish Clippers would have kept Bledsoe for way cheaper then Chris and we would have so much money left to sign a couple more big time players, But clippers haven't missed a beat since the CP3 injury...and are clicking more and more offensively with each passing game. They are lights out at home, and I see them winning this one.

I understand the thinking but seems that come playoff time its been Chris who has been the only one who has stepped up. If Blake, DeAndrea, and other guys stepping up we should do well.

I would never give up CP3 but in hindsight having a team of Bledsoe, Griffin, Jordan and replacing Chris Paul with a superstar small forward would also have put the clippers in good stead.

We are a great offensive team even without Chris, and having Blake facilitate from inside is working out really well. We have shooters everywhere and a few great isolation players, there's not really an easy way to stop us from scoring at a great rate.

That said, don't underestimate how much of that is caused by CP3 being on our team, even when he's not on the court. He's the reason people started taking us seriously, he's the reason veterans like Barnes, Redick, Crawford decided to come here, he's the reason why Doc wanted to coach this team and ultimately, he's the reason DTS is willing to pay the luxury tax.

You can play the what if game and think we could have had a team with Blake, DJ, Bled, EJ, whoever we drafted with the Kyrie Irving pick, you can even stretch it and say we could have picked Paul George and Andre Drummond with the Minny pick. But the truth is, more than likely all those assets wouldn't have turned into a contender without strong veteran presence, a stable front office, involved ownership and a solid coaching staff. All that happened because we had the luck to bring Chris Paul over.

Let's take this time to big up Neil Oshley once again.

This will only help our team cohesion whenever Paul does return. No doubt we'll need our fearless leader to go deep in the playoffs and then some.

It'll also help our guys be more assured of themselves and not rely on him.

I will take CP3 over Bledsoe + whatever any day sorry. Not even close Cp3 is way better. Not to mention Bledsoe would definitely want a big contract and would probably get the max from some team. Bledsoe has missed more games than CP3 this season while being nowhere near as good.

well it turns out Bledsoe is out with a torn meniscus, and just had a surgery to remove a portion of it.
he isn't any better in terms of durability and longevity against CP3, i will take CP3 at this point over whatever Bled+ could have given us.

and this is from a guy who pondered for a long time if Bledsoe led Clippers would be better off, a la thunder style.

PS- turned out that EJ is more injury prone than CP, so we won out there, and if durability is equal between CP and Bled, who in right mind would choose young Eric?
