RealGM

Just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. I've been an active member on another Clippers board for a long time (over 10 years), but lately the inmates seem to have taken over the asylum and the negativity has just become way too overwhelming. Our mutual friend Ranma mentioned that he loves this board, and so I thought I might give it a shot. Looking forward to getting to know the posters here & enjoying this historic Clippers season with you guys.

I'm so happy to see you've made your way here. Not to knock this place or anything, but I can't say that I "love" this place only because I'm fairly new here myself. With that said, mkwest has been a great moderator from what I can tell and I'm sure the same can be said of thanumba2clippersfan.

As I mentioned to you before, I'm just now getting back to posting somewhat regularly. In any case, I'm excited to have you around. It's a calmer environment here, which suits me (and my nerves) just fine.

i too am a defector from another site, as well as about half a dozen more fellas who made the exodus together. as ranma 1/2 said, we have our own mods who are the keepers of peace and harmony as any clippers forum should, but unfortunately many don't. hopefully you will come to love the fellas in here and post regularly, and just maybe, make a few game threads along the way.

Well you got a point but to be fair they do come in just to taunt and gloat so being hostile is definitely not bad in that situation.

I didn't get banned with initial wave but I did for trying to save people and refer them here.

Welcome aboard! I also came from the same forum Neddy came from. Well in all honesty I was a member here first, it was practically abandoned so I ventured off to that other forum. I can't even remember that old forums name lol. When MK became mod and literally resuscitated this forum I came back for good. He is the best mod a forum can have. I could always count on logging on early and getting all the latest news. When Neddy came aboard it was really cool because on that other forum him and I had so many battles with Laker fans. We always had each others back but needless to say we don't get the same backlash on this site. The mods are on point for keeping the trolls out.

Welcome okpistolpete. I'm always happy to see new posters and more Clipper fans come on our forum. When I first started posting here it was really quiet. This forum has really grown from when I first came to RealGM. The guys here are all great, so I'm sure that you'll really enjoy the forum.
