First game back at home for the Clippers after spending the last 2 weeks on the road. The first game back after a long road trip is usually tough. However, the Clippers have the 2nd best record in the league at home and square off against a Wizards team that played the night before against the Warriors in Oakland. This game also marks the final game of a 4-game road trip for the Wizards of which they are 2-1.

i was about to put up the game thread as i didn't see anyone sign up for this one and game time was less than 24 hours, but glad to see you MK produce a professional quality game thread. it's much easier to thank you for the game thread than trying my clumsy attempts at making one. i feel so goddamn old lately as i approach 40, but i have no freaking clue of how you can make such beautiful game threads man. you told me one time but my mac didn't exactly respond the same way you described.

and much respect for Doc after reading how he wanted to approach this game as an extension of this long grammy road trip as we play the GS tomorrow at their house. hope we don't overlook these witch crafters since they are about .500 team on the road as they are at home.

They just beat the Warriors in their house we can't overlook them at all. We need this win with a very tough game against a hated opponent on the second game of the back to back.

Ned-I too logged on to make a GT for this one just now haha

Mk - jw how long does it take you to make a game thread? It's so much more in depth than mine or Ned's, do u have a saved template that u use?

Most of mine take about 20-30 mins. Most of which is me google searching for the dumbest pics I can find, as I think Ned, dontfirenedco! ;) does too

I do enjoy all the stats u post, as well as the post game tweets

Win!!!!!!!!

We beat Phoenix, then got smoked by Utah on the back to back. Wouldn't be surprised if we got run out of the building by you guys, then again, we had 2 days rest between the Jazz and Warriors game so who knows. Should be a fun match up. Good luck to you guys.

Will be a interesting game very different from the first think NeNe will be a x factor. Our team struggles some when two offensive bigs constantly attack us and John Wall against Collison with the toe injury should be troublesome. Fatigue, defense, and rebounding could determine the winner.

finally...one of the few teams with a mix of players that i don't hate/ don't get on my nerves.

Wall and Beal.
Beal n Wall
Ball
Weal.

such a huge fan of those two....hoping they can get in the playoffs and piss some teams off.
didn't see how they beat GSW last night...but they did....they should have a little confidence after that even though GSW is wild overrated and fading imo.

i expect them to try and get back what they left at Staples last time they came.

They're on a back 2 back (their second in 6 days) and they earned a hard fought win yesterday against the Dubs. Also they're at 50% right now, and every chance they had this year of getting over 50% they lost, and they had a few. They've been on the road for over a week too, so hopefully this is one of them schedule freebies and we don't have to play the starters over 30 minutes. Tomorrow's game is important and we're gonna need to bring our A game.

Good luck to them after today though, they're a team I always had a lot of sympathy for.

And don't forget Sam Cassell on the bench. I love how the year before last he took John Wall to every Clippers playoff game and had him watch CP3 the entire time - whether he was on offense or defense, whether he had the ball or didn't, whether he was on the floor or on the bench. He just wanted him to study the best PG in the game during the playoffs - both in victory and defeat. Absolutely loved that.

Probably no more than that. It helps if it's against a team I've already done, since I'd only have to tweak the stats a little bit.

Still in awe that they beat the Golden Showers @Oracle last night. Guess we better take them serious in our house. GO CLIPS!!!

I hope we aren't too cocky after our successful road trip. The wizards are better than most of the teams we played recently.

I have to work late again tonight, so sadly I'll be missing the game. I'm hoping that we come out with a good effort and beat the Wizards. They are a much improved team so this one won't be easy.

ha yeah in a way.

koreans count your birth as being 1 year old, as you have already spent a year (of course that is a little over estimated) already in your mom's womb. so i am 40 in my ethnic culture as of now. but as an American living here in America, i still have about 340 days until 40.... yeah..... so..... I'm approaching it again.

BTW a USC shoulder specialist just came out on the pre-game show reiterating all of my concerns about CP3. did anyone else see it?

I saw the segment and mentioned it in the Paul injury thread.

yeah that guy basically went through all of my concerns, point by point. hopefully we get lucky out of this situation and doc babies CP3 through the remaining regular season. we now know that collison can take up more playing time and do the job too.
