About the Spurs...

Anyone feel that they'll tank to avoid the Rockets in the 2nd round? They probably think they have a better chance against the Clippers since they feel they still "own" them.

No, that is not how POP rolls. POP will do what is best in each game situation. You need to remember Pop sat Ginobilli, Parker and Duncan Vs. Miami , Stern fined him $59,000 before the game; who won that game?....Spurs
even when the Spurs try to give the other team an advantage it doesn't work all the time b/c the Spurs system is that good

If you are speaking about last year, the Spurs did sit all of those guys against Miami and made it a close game, but Miami won in the last minute.

Thing about the Spurs is that they can't tank properly
Parker is injured, and/or they sit Duncan, and/or they sit Manu - and they're still an absolute elite team. See last two wins against Mavs/Suns (B2B).

The funny thing is that Miami did the same thing to them last season- they sat Wade and LeBron at the Spurs, but beat the Spurs in San Antonio with Bosh hitting a huge 3 in that game.
I don't care for many of the top teams in the west. The Spurs rub me the wrong way for reasons I can't fully explain. I think I am just exasperated at how methodically they pick apart opponents. I am also still bitter at the '05 finals when the Pistons should have beat them if not for Mr. Hero Horry. They also would usually disappoint against the Lakers. It was like the Lakers were the only team that could make them look bad.
I don't like OKC for several reasons- Durant is allowed to have his own whistle, Westbrook poses after nearly every shot he makes, Ibaka is a dirty player against the Clips, and they have Fisher- who I despise as a player.
I could go on in terms of other teams, but basically I dislike every team in the west except for the Clippers- you get the point!

Yeah too late now, no chance of that happening anymore.

Spurs will beat Houston handily in the 2nd round IMO. Houston's offense doesn't seem like it'll translate well to the playoffs. Too much shot jacking/iso.
