On the Subject of Klay Thompson...

Post#1 » by Quake Griffin » Thu Apr 17, 2014 3:06 am

http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/stor ... china-shop

this is desperate and all this team has.
They aren't the better team so they will play up the underdog role, the upset special role and all go to the media about all the traditional things that people hate about the Clippers. They will try to play mental gymnastics with us.

I just SINCERELY hope that Griffin/ the rest of the team leaves the talking (verbally) to us on this forum and punishes this/these POS on the floor.

They talk entirely too much to not have won anything. That's an annoying team.

i can't blame them.
they're playing with house money tbh and they do it every year with their underdog/ us against the world status.

it's pretty pathetic to me.

if we lose....disappointment...CP can't get past the 2nd round...Griffin isn't good enough...Doc wasn't enough etc. etc.

if they lose?....they were supposed to....Curry is still a young developing star etc. etc.
i'd talk too if the only consequences of me losing a series meant that everybody would point the finger at Mark Jackson.

They're chock full of excuses. He's actually preemptively throwing out an excuse by saying Blake flops to get calls. And he flops himself so, it's quite comical.

Dubble Talk

Post#6 » by Ranma » Thu Apr 17, 2014 3:53 am

Warriors are not much more than just talk. They were a team that didn't make excuses...until they started making excuses (#fullsquad) and are now preparing ready-made reasons for their engaging in "cowardly basketball". Just double-talk from the Dubs. They take after their coach. Speaking of which, shouldn't it be about time for another one of their assistant coaches to bail or something?

Klay didn't say anything that wasn't correct.

I mean 16 tech fouls, that's quite a lot, he's clearly no angel

Frankly it would be embarrassing if lac can't beat gsw without bogut.

The Clippers have not won anything. At least GSW has had success in the playoffs. He's saying things that are true that you don't want to hear.

LAC definitely ain't getting out of the West. But I'd say Warriors are going to upset you. You're not better than the Dallas team or Denver team we upset. I can't wait. I sense apprehension from u.

If neither team has won a ring in the the past couple of playoffs, that's not "success" pal. And the Clippers don't run their mouth like the Warriors, big difference.

Oh but the Clippers fans totally do. They think they are entitled to win a ring every single year and love to trash talk other teams.

How is it pathetic to play with house money? What about all those decades that the Clippers didn't make the playoffs? I just don't get how it's pathetic to be against the world when you're at least in the playoffs. Please, just remember all those decades that the Clippers were not in the playoffs. And now you come at GS and call them pathetic? They lost Bogut, what else do you need?

If you lose it is a disappointment, a real big one. Because nobody in your fanbase thinks it can happen, therefore yes it's an extremely big failure. You understand that right? That's just how it is. You consider Blake the best pf and Paul the best pg. And you think u have the best bench. If you're that good, how can you lose and not think it's really bad? Of course the media would say bad things. So what? It would be deserved!

If we lose, we didn't have Bogut, home court, Mark Jackson's failings, Iguodala not 100 percent, and were the underdog. So of course it's not a disappointment. How is this a hard to swallow fact? Just how life works.

Vanilla,

I'm already aware of some of your posts on the Warriors board, and that's the place to put it if they'll have it. You want to be childish there, cool. Ain't nobody got time for that over here.

I'm not gonna judge Warriors fans by this Vanilla dude, cause I've read a bunch of respectful and knowledgeable ones in here.

But the Warriors players and coaches have been trying way too hard all year to make it look like there's some kind of bad blood and we really hate them. While if you watch any interview with Doc, Blake, Paul or whoever on the Clippers, it's pretty evident they see them as just another team in the way.
