Dmiles had a frame of Kevin Durant(was drafted at age 18 listed 6-9, but grew more later to be listed 6-11 along with his ridiculous wingspan and standing reach), athleticism of Hollywood Harper, smoothness of Big Game James, and a dunking ability of Clyde the Glide.
unfortunately, he also had the shooting ability of Shaq, thirst for party like Prince, or the artist formerly known as prince, a work ethic parallel of Derrick Coleman, and a brain equal to Forrest Gump.
he could have been one of the greatest ever, if he approached the game like Grant Hill or Michael Jordan, or at least appreciate the game as much as Karl Malone or Juwan Howard.
PS - i miss that young fella too. he is only 32 and still can make a comeback if he chooses to.

All the talent & no work ethic, what a shame! We give young athletes so much glory when they are young, they don't know how to work through crap when they need to.

I don't think he could have ever been one of the greatest ever, I really liked him on the Clippers but his ceiling was NBA All-Star- and that's based 100% on his freakish athleticism, his actual ball skills were pretty low.
He couldn't handle the ball well and couldn't really shoot either, I understand those can improve over time but his ability at those was pretty rudimentary (at least on an NBA court.)
He was a very good defensive player for us though and could have really made his bacon on that and transition game alone. I remember watching one of his first games ever at Staples, and seeing him swat a Shaquille shot into the stands. And obviously he could dunk the hell out of the ball!
I think during those Clipper years, Lamar Odom actually had the highest ceiling of all. He was around the same height, but had legitimate guard skills. We started him at PG as a rookie for quite a few games, and in his second year he got a few triple doubles.

I won't be mad if the Clippers signed Miles for 2014-15 season.

I'd do back flips. He's done though sadly

1-2 years ago I was hoping we'd sign him, but people here were already saying he was done.
