Don't know if I like this move or not. He honestly wasn't that bad for us, but this isn't the solution I was hoping for at the 3. He's not even a 3 anymore at this point in his career so I'm hoping we got him instead of Udoh and not CDR.

Who knows though maybe after a season in this system and getting used to it he can become our Diaw. People thought his career was over in Charlotte so maybe Hedo can surprise some people.

^He was used at the 4 last season.

I guess he's the alternate option if Hawes suffers an injury, but without the ability to play C.

He can be used at the 3 if the Clips are playing a team that doesn't have a very athletic 3. He played well at times last season

is Hedo done as a starter? yes.

is Hedo done as a rotational player? probably.

is Hedo good enough to come off the bench once in a while to cover for an injured player or be a situational stretch big when the game is already out of reach? hell ya better than any cannon fodder off the D league.

Hedo is being signed to be our 3rd power forward. i don't see why this hurts us in any capacity. this still doesn't stop us from signing a 3rd center who may see the floor more often over Hedo. that still doesn't make Hedo's worth as a player any less than any other team's 10th+ player on the roster. for possibly as our 14th player, he is a damn good option.
ehhhhh f it.

Oh yea, he's certainly done being any sort of high impact player, but he's quite fine as a 13th man

He was totally decent for us last season, so don't mind this at all. Just hope he stays healthy and can contribute.

Not a bad 5-10 minute player. Brings some good experience with him and was a good locker room guy last season.

He can help us in small spurts if healthy but with are recent depth at PF/C he won't be relied upon as much plus he's an adept passer and rebounder. Welcome back HEDO the Turkish Link!!!

Don't know why but I am still high on Jeremy Tyler as a 3rd big. I'd rather sign a young guy as a backup player, (possibly to the D League?) rather than signing another player way past his prime. Unless it's Rhino!

i think Udoh is already our 3rd center. but if you project him as a PF behind Glen Davis and Turk as a hybrid forward who will more or less cover behind our long list of SFs, I would want someone with a massive size better than DJ, so I am not sure if I am on board with ya on another 6-10 250 guy.

to send him to the D league to have in our back pocket? absolutely. but i think he will have better monetary options overseas than a D league.
ehhhhh f it.

$1.4M is an absolute bargain to get "The Michael Jordan of Turkey".

Hedo is washed up.. I knew this when he crossed himself up and "broke his own ankles" in the playoffs last year

Think about how quick and deceptive you have to be, to literally fake yourself out!

He was fun to watch in his glory years with the Magic.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
