Written and exec produced by Courtney Lilly (“The Cleveland Show,” “Guys with Kids,”) the show is about a kid from South Central who has to find a balance between polarizing worlds when he receives a scholarship to attend a prestigious suburban school. (Davis grew up in South Central and graduated from Crossroads, the elite private school in Santa Monica, Calif.). Davis is also exec producing, along with Kate Gordon and Max Winkler, Jake Johnson and Mary Lee of The Walcott Company.
