I'm hoping for another good effort tonight. This isn't the Heat team of the past, but this is still a team that will most likely make the playoffs. I'm happy that I can watch this one so I want to see a good result.

I'm really never worried about the offense with this team. When you have good enough players, you'll figure out how to score well. You can't expect guys to be cold for a whole season or under-perform unless they get injured or something. On the other hand, the defense is still very bothersome.

The team could get it together on offense, win a good amount of regular season games, etc, but that won't mean anything if they are a below average defensive team in the playoffs again.

The Clippers don't have offensive talent that is head over heels above the best opponents, there are opponents that can match the Clippers offense (when it is clicking) against the average defense. A game plan of just beating opponents with offense for multiple rounds is just not going to work, you have to be able to defend them better than the average team can because if they defend you better than the average team can, force an extra 2-3 misses per game, then where are you going to make that up from?

a win here would be huge.
kicking off a road trip with 2 road wins would be great.

and...Sunday looks like a DAUNTING task given how bad we've played since Game 5 last year.
Would be nice to have a little momentum going into Memphis.

Just watched a tough PSU hoops loss. Team was down by 17 at one point, came back to force OT and lost in 2OT against Charlotte. Hoping a win by the Clippers can make me feel a little better.
