well CDR and Farmar being hurt and unable to play is expected ( as one is injured and the other one is injury prone) but Reggie's injury is surely unfortunate. he is losing a precious little playing time he had and it seems Barnes/Hedo tandem has won the heart of Doc. Im not complaining as we are winning ,but the young man sure could have used some break.

Hoping for a good game tonight to keep our streak alive. We'll have to do this one without Farmar and Bullock. It's too bad Bullock can't play since he could benefit with more playing time.

LMFAO @ CDR being out of the lineup. Seeing CDR on the court is like a unicorn sighting.

I hear ya. Lately we've been doing such a good job of putting away teams that we would have plenty of play time for Bullock. We really don't know what kind of player he is since he rarely gets play time, but apparently he's good enough that Doc hasn't ever considered him in a trade

It's always a detriment when your young guys can get play time. That just extends the time it will take for them to develop, or worse the team deals away the kid and he develops well on another team.

PHX are a good team. This will be a nice test for us.

Blake on the Break

Griffin should have passed that ball off to Barnes on the fastbreak instead of going up awkwardly for a miss that turned into a quick two for the opposition off the counter break going the other way.

Suns Backcourt

Just over halfway through the first quarter, Bledsoe (2-3) and Dragic (4-4) are shooting 85.7% from the field and 100% from beyond the arc with a trey apiece.

Edit: Dragic just airballed a three attempt to bring down their combined shooting percentage to 75% FG and 67% 3PT.

What did Dragic do? Did he try to trip Paul?

I wouldn't complain if Green was on our team.

Yep. He was unhappy nothing was called in that brief scrap with CP3.

Green gets those shots up though, he shoots at an even higher rate than Jamal, that will have the ability to frustrate here and there. He hasn't had too many games this season where he's jacking up shots and not making many though, so that's at least good. Wouldn't mind him either, though more as a 6th man SG/SF than as a starting SF. The advantage he has on Jamal is that he can more naturally play SF.

The Suns tied us up at 28 to end the 1st quarter

Defense First

I'm actually glad to see Doc read the riot act to the team for not defending despite the offense flowing smoothly. Also, glad to hear he was upset for the same reason in the previous game against the Pelicans.

This Suns offense is disgusting. Their offense is "come down, chuck a three" No ball movement, just chuck

No-Call on Blake Finish

I'm one of Blake's biggest critics when it comes to his whining for calls, but that no-call on his last finish where he was basically mugged on the inside should have had the whistle blown.
