Cunningham traded to Philly; Clips interested in Wroten

No link but his guaranteed contract set for Wed. Everything I've read says he'll be cut by then which saves the team 600K and allows us to sign someone else at vet min as he will free up a roster spot.
Rather we unload Farmar since he's a scrub. But looks like JCunn will be gone. Wish him the best of luck and hope we can make use of the roster spot.

didn't even get a chance to prove himself.
smfh.
Doc Phil Jackson Rivers.
Just give him all proven players already so he will use his entire roster.
edit:
Maybe Earl Clark here?

Doc should admit his mistake and see what he can get for Hawes. Hawes has mostly been a big disappointment. Often won't take open 3s, can't guard a chair. Perhaps they should see what Cleveland would give them as they need a big man with Varejao injured.

Not a surprise. If you're not a washed-up vet on his last legs, you'd better be a superstar or Doc wants nothing to do with you.
Doc's the one who really needs to be cut, from both the front office and the coaching staff!

Wish we could waive Farmar.

No one can criticize Doc for acquiring Hawes. His numbers last year were sensational and we got him at a bargain price. It's our system which just makes our players worse.

Hawes is essentially a one trick pony who is reluctant to perform his only trick- 3 point shooting. He is one of the worst defensive bigs in the league from what I've seen and doesn't have enough strength to consistently post up. I'd rather have Big Baby play his minutes.

And that's when my hopes of us being a title contender evaporated.

I thank Cunningham for the 4-point play against Phoenix and wish the best for him moving forward in his future basketball endeavors.

Here's to hoping if he is cut, we sign him to a couple 10-days then re-sign him.

Don't like him not getting a chance to prove himself as Quake said. I thought the things ive seen from him could be things we need on the court.

If Philly ain't keeping him, it sounds like we're taking back salary but the Sixers doesn't need to dump contracts when they operate near the salary floor. I would have figured Kirilenko is involved but he's still slotted with a $3.3 million salary for Philadelphia. It's doubtful that Cunningham is coveted to the point where one team will trade for him on behalf of a 3rd team. Curious (and a little bit afraid) to see how this shakes out.

Obviously, another move is coming but it sounds like Woike's sources are off about Wroten.

We almost got Tony

I would have flipped **** if we did. I know he's a turnover machine but he's one of those guys in the league you just love to watch play.
His sources might have not been off. The Clippers could have been targeting Tony, but just didn't end up getting him. Targeting, and getting/acquiring are two different words.

Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports (1/7/14)Trading Cunningham spares the Clippers a cap hit. If they would've waived him, he would've counted against the cap based on the number of days he had been with the team.
Sources: Clippers trade Jared Cunningham to 76ers

yeah I read that in Woj's article. Makes sense.
