Ralph Lawler's Condition

Post#1 » by Ranma » Thu Jan 8, 2015 6:05 am

Everyone was troubled by his slurred speech during the game against the Lakers, but subsequent tweets indicated it was food poisoning. Now this does not look good at all.

:(

According to Ben Bolch, Lawler was battling a flu.

I think he may have had another on-air stroke. Hope he is okay.

Hopefully the slurred speech were just him being exhausted from the food poisoning.

he's had one before?

I think he should see a neurologist. I'm quite concerned about him.

The one time he had it, Brian Sieman filled in for Lawler. Don't remember which game it was.

Glad Ralph is ok, he's up there on that list for legendary broadcasters here in LA. The slurred speech was not a good sign of whatever it was he was battling, but glad it was just some simple issues.

Oh I remember that game where Sieman filled in. I was wondering why he was doing the TV broadcast. I hope Ralph is ok, he's up there with the other LA greats like Hearn, Scully.

I'm upset that they haven't given him a statue beside Chick Hearn outside of the Staples Center
