yep. So a guy picked 10th who is still only 22 for a 2nd rounder.

I imagine it would be a heavily protected future 2nd rounder, one the Celtics might never see.

Austin Rivers is worth $2.5 million. They will need to send, at the very least, Jordan Farmar. Doc may also dump Chris Douglas-Roberts, Ekpe Udoh, Reggie Bullock or C.J. Wilcox to increase their salary cushion.

In regards to trading Crawford for a small forward, one of the targets is Wilson Chandler, whose value of $6.7 million, will require an extra player drop. One of the above mentioned may be included in the deal.

Even if Doc gets his small forward, I don't think the Clippers are done. The rumor of a superstar trade is still out there until the deadline passes. Doc will still want a reunion with either Ray Allen or Kevin Garnett. The buyout market is still Doc's preferred hunting ground.

He isn't a good shooter, bad from the field and doesn't finish well. Havent watched much of him the last 2 seasons, but he was drafted for his ability to attack the basket. He was terrible as a rookie, but wasn't too bad last season. Still not a good shooter, but again, an outside the box attempt to fix the bench. Another guard who can attack, only it wont cost us much to try him out.

Honestly, at the end of the day, idk if this ends up happening. Only real way it works is if we do say CDR and Turkoglu for him. I'd personally rather go with Wroten.

I'm curious how this will really work. I'm OK with getting Austin Rivers as long as Doc Rivers is OK with it, and we don't have to give up much to get him. We do have a need for another PG now, but this still won't fill our most important need.

This is great and all, but he's not an SF. I don't care about other deals right now.. IF this means he can replace Farmar and it opens a trade for Wilson Chandler then im all for it but I don't see it helping us that much.
