This has trap-game written all over it, the Wolves have actually been pretty good since Rubio/Martin/Pekovic came back from their respective injuries, and they're still riding on the adrenaline of bringin Garnett back. Plus we're on a b2b and spent a lot of energy on the weekened road victories, I can see us droppin this one easily :/

lol yeh, maybe we win on a JJ Redick dunk from the FT line as time expires too

But yeah, Hawes is due for a great shooting game to be honest, he's just so scared of f*cking up whenever he gets the ball that his shooting numbers are horrible, but the guy can shoot and there's gonna be a day when the ball starts goin in and his confidence grows as he keeps taking and making shots. Man's gotta hope at least.

This is a winnable game but I can see us losing this one since we played yesterday. The Twolves have some of their better players back so I hope we're ready.

Lucky for us, after Rubio's hot 3 game start since he came back from injury, his scoring / shooting averages since then are not so impressive:

12.0 ppg / 29.6% FG / 25.0% 3PT

This guy really is shooting and isolating ability from being a totally elite PG, but developing isolation ability at the NBA level is a pretty hard thing to ask, but at least the ability to shoot off the dribble / off pick and roll would do him wonders.

His is turnover prone, but he does so many things well, push the pace, defense, rebounding, but that scoring and shooting, it's hard for a PG.

Yeah honestly, the fact that he can still get starter minutes with how historically awful he is at scoring says a lot about the rest of his game. It's a similar conversation with Deandre and his free throws, he's so painfully bad at it, but still worth it to have him on the floor.

Hopefully Hamilton can step up as well as other reserves like Hawes, Rivers and Baby.
This most definitely is a trap game.

Some consistent team defense should make this an easy win. I hope there is no complacency.

btw, sorry bros.

LOVE THE ROAD BLUES!!!!
The only reason I don't ask for the reds to go is because of tradition.

Hamilton has looked great so far. 5 pts (1 trey), had a tip out after a DJ missed free throw. Made a great drive with a nice dish off to Hawes who missed it.

I take it JHam has played well? That's good. How is he defensively?
