nice start.
more focused on Duke game.
i still lol at how CP said once that he doesn't curse. He has a damn potty mouth on the court and it always gets picked up on the feed.

I remember him saying that lol
He becomes a different animal on the court. It's the within beast taking over.

how well does momentum from beating lower quality opponents translate into a tougher back to back like the upcoming one this week?

So I was taking care of my son and I got him to sleep. I checked the score and see we're up 30

The Clippers' starters are currently shooting 12-20 (60%) from beyond the arc early in the 4th quarter. Red Eye is 5-6 (71.4%) and CP3 is 3-4 (75%) with Barnes pulling up the rear at 4-10 (40%).

Blowing the Lead Away

Bad bench play and hack-a-DJ on top of stoppage of play has cut big lead to 11 points before the Barnes putback to 13 points. Jordan's mental fragility is %!$$-ing me off. He's had all these opportunities to settle himself, he's got decent form, he's working on FT's during practice and pregame, so it's just in his mind. I know it's tough, but seriously, he's had plenty of time, support, and practice to make some headway in this area. He should stop being afraid and at least start being mad. At least then, he wouldn't keep being so tentative.
Update: Good job by J.J. in getting DJ to laugh after that first in-and-out miss; Jordan finally hits the second attempt due in no small part to Redick's calming influence.

Our bench is pathetic, but we won our 7th straight. I'll take is. GS Tuesday, wonder if Vanillaboy will be there.

So I had to finish up some laundry and help the wife out with a few things. Good to see that we won, thought our margin would be bigger. Glad that we're taking care of business against the lesser teams. My guess is that no starter played in the 4th and our bench didn't do much. Now we have a test against the Warriors, let's see if we can keep our streak alive.
Return of the Starters and Hudson's Debut Delayed

After the stoppage of play due to a medical emergency near the Clippers' bench area, the Clipper starters had to return back into the game (and do mini sprints to warm up) with about 4 1/2 minutes left in regulation. The bench play was so bad that Lester Hudson's debut was delayed as Doc welcomed hack-a-DJ rather than stick with the disorganized performance of the second unit.

I was trying to watch 3 things at once during the game. The starters should not have had to return to the game. I miss the tribe.
The Clippers are now 12-0 whenever DJ attempts more than 14 free-throws. He's gotta do better than 20% though.

Blake's 180-degree block was seriously one of the most impressive things I've seen on a basketball court:

I was at a Clipper game a little over a year ago and a guy had a seizure in front of me.
Def one of the scariest moments of my life….watching him shake a little, a little more then crumble onto the floor.
