He made 139 this year. That's by far his most ever 3 points made. His previous career high wasn't even 100, it was 92. What's the simple explanation on why he suddenly made a bunch of 3s this season? Hes always been a good 3-point shooter (career 36% shooter) but he never made this many 3s.

I think this is a good sign that he is slowly breaking the 'I'll always pass first' mindset and is taking games into his own hands.

He is relying a lot more on his jump shot now since his athleticism has declined and the 3 point shot is an ultra efficient shot. He is shooting over 50% from mid range as well(arguably the best midrange shooter this season!).

Its impressive that his already elite jump shot has improved even more. First season shooting 90% from the line too and first season not missing a single game.

what else can you say? in a league full of superstar PG's, the guy is still the number one point guard on the planet.

i hope when all is said and done that people won't so easily forget just how incredible he was while fending off things like curry's shooting and westbrook's dynamism every night.
