Cole Aldrich, Javale, or Larry Sanders

One of these three seem to be decent options at the center position for the Clippers. I think the smart choice is Cole. He is a very good rebounder and has some offensive game.

JaVale + Aldrich IMO. Aldrich has less upside but is the safer bet. I like him as the backup in case McGee goes McGee on us.

Javale, Sanders or Willie Reed. Give me two of these three. Very happy we didn't get Hibbert, he just doesn't fit our style of play.

Sanders is not just gonna change his mind about wanting to play basketball just because we need him. It'd be awesome if he did, but this has been our whole offseason: it'd be awesome if we could get X, only to find out there was never a chance to get anything close to that.

didn't sanders say he was playing in summer league?

anyway he'd be my #1 guy if it were in him again. but yeah looks like we need to get mcgee, regardless.

get sanders to start, mcgee to back him up, a young guy to 3rd string and come out feeling OK.

If Sanders' head is in the right place (which I have my doubts about), he could be one of the biggest pickups of the offseason. I just don't know how this guy just fell off a cliff the way he did. Even in his last games I recall he was disappointing.

But if the two of them are healthy and aren't in a Bynum state of mind, they are exactly the type of big men we need.

Sanders posted on twitter a few days that he's playing in the Drew league in LA with Nick Young.

Drew league is basketball for fun. Sanders from the latest reports in relation to the NBA is not interested in professional basketball. The NBA's drug policy doesn't allow for smoking weed and Sanders says he uses it to medicate himself for depression I believe. The NBA is not going to work for him until something changes either way.

Javale has the most upside... If anyone could get Javale to get in line it would be Doc and CP3. Simplify the game for him and give him direction. What about Emeka Okafor as an option?

The team should try to sign one of these guys and trade Jamal to the Bucks for MIles Plumlee and Jarryd Bayless.

Larry Sanders would be the ultimate pickup if his head is screwed on straight. Is he playing ball again?

I seriously think Jermaine O'Neal could be helpful. He could be very useful as a 15 minute back up center. Still can play good defense and is serviceable offensively

i do too but he hasn't indicated he's wanted to play for doc. seems like he'd rather just stay in texas.

Any word on how the Javale call went that was supposed to happen last night?

If only Doc kept Hasan Whiteside. What a shame.

We never actually had Whiteside, so...

I thought Doc basically auditioned him and rejected him.

On a different note, I wish KG would decide that he wants to play for a possible contender in his final years rather than the Wolves. He could also be helpful in this situation- not really as a starter, but for 15-20 minutes a game.

I think Doc rejected him because of his attitude, which we all saw as the season carried on.
