Nice how he explains that he did the exact same thing to the T-Wolves than DJ did to Dallas, and no one batted an eye cause it happens all the time. And he didn't give Flip a call either. And how after DTS nixed the signing and he didn't receive a call either. How basically, similar things than what happened with DJ happen a lot more often that we think, and there's not all this drama around it.

Great interview. Love that JJ sent out that car tweet when he was already in Houston at the team's suite just before heading to meet DJ. They were way ahead of Parsons.

Man, I love J.J. He's such a great fit for our team and I really appreciate his genuine insights. I'm half-joking when I say this, but Doc should give him the role of Player-GM. This would complicate matters more if it were to happen, to be honest, since teammates would feel awkward in the lockerroom with a guy who had the power to trade them. Of course, a guy like LeBron practically has such influence but it doesn't really turn out well for just anyone to handle such a role.

On a serious note, I'd love to see Redick groomed to one day take over the GM role and player personnel decisions for the Clippers once his playing days are over.

that would be a great idea. I would think he has a great business sense and most likely done very well with his nba money. I am sure he will be involved somewhere.

Maybe Redick can work his relationship with Harrison Barnes to recruit him to the Clippers in the coming years. Just holding out hope.
