Does anybody know if the press conference is open to the public? I imagine it isn't, but then I saw that it is at Staples so I thought it might be. I may have the time to make it down there if it is.

Lucas Hann (Clips Nation) said it will be held in the press room at STAPLES. The Lakers will also be introducing their free-agent acquisitions at 11am tomorrow. I'm not sure, but maybe they're holding their presser there as well.

These pressers are never open to the public. But you can bet it'll be a media circus there, maybe even more than when CP3 first came on board.

Lol Josh Smith's face was priceless when Ralph was talking about how the season ended abruptly last year.

Marcus Camby was in the locker room with the guys before the press conference. He's pretty close to DJ and his family, so it's cool to see that kind of support.

The new home jersey would look 10x better if they put the secondary logo above clippers

I find it interesting when talking about the 2nd unit, Doc and Austin didn't mention Jamal, guessing he'll be moved before the season starts or riding the bench

Yeah, I noticed that too. With the exception of the brief screen graphic of the roster's depth chart, there was nary a mention of Jamal Crawford. Of particular note was Doc's comment about how he wants both Austin and Lance to think of themselves as point guards in sharing ball-handling duties while they're on the court together since it makes it tougher for the defense to focus on one player primarily bringing the ball upcourt. I've been a big advocate of such an approach where both backcourt players have the capability to handle the ball and run an offense similar to Stockton and Hornacek of the Jazz back in the day. Doc also went on to reiterate how effective Lance is as a "downhill" player and that he should be pushing the pace when he's in the game.
Also, with a team full of competent ball-handlers and passers, I'd like to see us emulate a little bit of what the Sacramento Kings used to do with Bibby, Divac, Webber, and Stojakovic fluidly moving the ball around. Unfortunately, we're probably lacking in the passing ability to play such a style at the 3 and 5 spots. Still, with CP3, Blake, J.J., J-Smoove, Stephenson, and Junior Rivers, we do have plenty of good passers who can work that style with lineup variations.
Going back to Jamal, it seems clear to me that his omission from the conversation during the press conference indicates that he's on the way out. Doc did say that, while he valued roster flexibility (for late additions), he will keep an eye out for other moves to materialize towards the end of the offseason as free agency closes out.

Clippers Introduce Free Agent Signings
“On paper, I like us against anyone,” [Doc] Rivers said. “I’m sure other teams will say the same thing, but we all know from being around this that it’s going to take a group that wants to play together, wants to get together and wants to win together. That’s our goal now.”
Paul Pierce: “I’m here with the same goal in mind that everybody else’s goal is, and that’s to win the championship. Truthfully, if I didn’t think the Clippers were close, then no matter home or not, I probably wouldn’t have made this decision.”
Josh Smith: “We have an opportunity to be able to do something special, and right now this is what I want to focus on…Hopefully we can do something historic for this franchise. I feel like we have the right pieces to do it. We just have to be able to, like Coach (Rivers) said, get it done early on, and that starts in September.”

He's only 6'9" without shoes on but has a 7'4.75" wingspan.
