Re: Big Baby or Hollins
well, davis is great in like 5 minute stints. hollins is not. davis got a huge knock on him for not being a reliable 3rd big but he's not that guy.
hollins sucks every single minute of every time he's on the floor.

Re: Big Baby or Hollins
I think I'm the only person who thinks Big Baby is great with what he brings to our team. He is our second best when it comes to drawing charges and has a nice pick n roll game. In terms of effort, if only some of our other players tried as hard as he does.

Re: Big Baby or Hollins
Hollins has more benefit in the locker room and with team camaraderie than he does on the court. On the court, he's a human foul machine.
Big Baby can give you quality minutes. He's flawed, but he can help on the defensive end and pump up the team/crowd. We can also offer him a bigger contract. I don't know the FO's plan, but I would bring him on with a 2 year contract (2nd year unguaranteed) and use him as a trade chip later on. Doing so would allow some flexibility to make a potential move around the deadline or heading into next offseason. We'll have around $9-10M in cap space next summer if we part ways with players that are unguaranteed (Dawson) or have team options (Stephenson & Wicox). If Stephenson bounces back, then it's not a given that we would want to let him go. Having trade chips, gives you the option of adding another piece (with Crawford and Davis as expiring/unguaranteed salary) and keeping Stephenson if things go well.

Re: Big Baby or Hollins
Honestly, if were bringing back an ex-Clipper to be the 15th player, I'd rather go with Paul Davis. I saw him play for BC Khimki in Russian & EuroLeague competition and he has been solid. Dropped like 13/6 on 60% FG in EuroLeague play, in under 20 minutes. His IQ tops that of Davis and Hollins, and while Ryan is more athletic, and Davis is, erm, stronger, Davis is easily the best of the bunch

Baby for sure, he actually makes plays from time to time. And my wife likes to call him floppy fish cause he is always falling.

Big Baby knows Doc Rivers's system, plus he's been with Doc Rivers the longest. He'll end up making the team because he won a ring with Doc.

Chris Singleton. I'll take the younger guy with some semblance of potential.

None of the Above
Out of the 3 options presented so far, I would go with none of the above. I'd rather hold out hope for the slim chance at Emeka Okafor or the opportunity for someone else who may pop up on the radar later. While none of the aforementioned players would really handcuff us for too long, they do represent a hindrance and we really don't need any of them.
Assuming a Jamal Crawford trade not in the works at the moment, I'd rather the final open roster spot go to someone who stands out with a recent string of performances to earn the job rather than take a chance on an unknown and unproven commodity or a retread we've had before with limited contributions.
Like mkwest said, Hollins is a foul machine who hasn't shown any inclination of realizing the upside his physical attributes represent. Big Baby does provide exuberance, energy, and sporadic impactful play, but he has been consistently a negative presence in +/- rating:
2014-15: -81
2013-14: -123
2012-13: -24
2011-12: -61
Chris Singleton was out of the NBA last season and is limited as a defensive SF with length and athleticism with little to offer offensively outside of dunking.

Big Baby has more use to the team as a high energy guy who can take a charge and stick a jumper once in a while. He definitely has limitations, but he has some use.

Re: Big Baby or Hollins
I'm leaning towards what Ramna said in that we should wait and scour the players who could potentially be bought out, or are coming back from injury and haven't been signed (Okafor).
BUT if a signing is imminent and it has to be between the 3 then I choose Davis all the way. Even if he was the worst player of the 3 (which I don't believe him to be, due to his hustle, defense and knowledge of the system) but in a locker room that will need as much continuity and leadership as possible, he would really help. The addition of so many faces, with some that could be volatile if things aren't going well (Smith, Stephenson), and Crawford's acting out, I think Davis would be an additional calming influence on the team.

Re: Big Baby or Hollins
Like a few others have said, I wouldn't mind signing Big Baby again. Having a tank-like body provides some defensive impact in itself. He seems like a good locker room guy and has a relationship with Doc, doesn't try to do too much, takes charges, and at times provides good defense (I remember one play in particular where he totally shut down his man with excellent defense, got the crowd pumped, and started high fiving fans). Hollins on the other hand, is only good for being the human victory cigar, and having a few exciting dunks in blowout games.
