Slow start so far on both sides, Raptors with turnovers, Clippers missing a lot, but seems like it might be settling down on the Clippers side

I just noticed Doc's arch-nemesis is reffing tonight. Glad this one doesn't matter.

Man. Getting a full look at these jerseys from this angle.

Why did we put the logo and the number on the same plane?
These didn't have to be the Worst jerseys of All Time.

but they are….or they're close.

You guys all on board with Wes Johnson being the starter?

Seems like all the bench players need to start to maximize talent. Tempted to start Lance because his confidence looks killed with the bench.

If he can bring consistent defense and not get in anyone's way on offense, but that is a bigger if than it might seem

We look so lazy on both ends. I wasn't expecting sharp offense but I was expecting some enthusiasm.

Seems like Cole is a better fit for the bench unit.

Jamal is just disastrous he should not get meaningful minutes at all.
He has to be used properly, get him in, if he is hitting shots, and the team is doing well keep him, if not, bench right away.
Otherwise he is cancerous, I mean he was last year too.

Let's hope Doc get's dissuaded from that small ball bench lineup

Did Lance and Josh Smith go rogue again? I didn't get a chance to watch this one.

correct me if I am wrong, but a small ball lineup's most important asset/characteristic is unselfishness to make extra pass to the highest percentage shot and outrunning the floor against bigger, slower team.

our small ball unit does not make that extra pass and does not run the floor out of defensive stop.

in fact I prefer the second unit of

Pablo - Lance - Pierce - Josh - Cole as that team can rotate and defend size or speed.

I know there is little chance Doc sits his own kid and Jamal as third stringers but that second unit has 4 guys who can play D and 1 guy who can run an offense.

Yea, and small ball usually goes hand in hand with having great spacing and doing things like running 4 out 1 in, but the small ball lineup doesn't have good enough shooting for that.

I would also prefer that lineup to the current

i've thought for a long time that doc doesn't actually know how to properly utilize small ball, or why it's even good.

and i get the feeling that this season isn't going to change my opinion.
