If we do keep one I say Mbah a Moute. He fits into the mold we are trying of being able to play and defend multiple positions.

I agree. I've been very impressed by him. Chuck Hayes would also add value though, especially used against players like Z-Bo.

Team finally got mad the right way. We need to take that emotion and build on it for the season.

Nice putback slam by Lance.

Signs of Encouragement

The team has played well from the 2nd quarter on. DJ has looked good on the boards. Blake has been making things happen with passing, shot-making, and even tips of loose balls to teammates...but he's still prone to turning the ball over due to over-handling it. As has been said previously, Lance has looked better with the starting lineup but he's not quite good. The team has cut the deficit with excellent defense but has allowed momentum to swing back the other way due to missed easy opportunities. I also love that the team is moving the ball in an effort to get the best shot for the open man.

I really like Josh Smith's passing game. He is smarter than most people give him credit for. I think both Lance and Smith will benefit the most if they concentrate on the non-scoring aspects of their game (passing, rebounding, etc). The points will come.

The second unit needs a true center. It's a 50/50 chance they can get a defensive rebound. Cole has the size to help.

Ballmer said from the onset of his ownership that he wanted to position the Clippers as America's team, so I would guess it is part of his directive.

austin is unreal. his shot is so much better from long range, from mid range, he finishes better, etc.

i think he is going to be our surprise best player off the bench.
