Like Baby Doc, after all the punking he's been taking, I find myself pulling for Lonzo Ball. And I f***ing hate the Lakers more than communists.

Lonzo didn't ask for any of this.

I'm honestly a little disappointed that we couldn't beat Texas A&M. I know they are the better team but I would have loved to get a huge win like that early in the season. I do like what I'm seeing from this Nittany Lion team. I did expect this to be the year the team would win some.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

We are all jealous of the Lakers and their championships but man, I'm more jealous of the fact that they can compete with the Goddamn Warriors. I don't know if the Warriors just underestimate the Lakers because we sure as hell know that they always see us as the nerd in school that easily gets picked on.

I think the Warriors are just trying to coast through the regular season. It's a long season and losing a game to the Lakers isn't going to make or break their championship run right now. Unless a matchup has their interest they probably aren't really bringing their A game. My guess is after the all-star break they'll start prepping for the playoffs.

Regular season Rule #1: Don't fkn get hurt. If I'm a GSW, I don't dive on the floor for a loose ball until at least the second round of the playoffs. And then only maybe, depending on where the series stands.

They know which team 99.9% of their "fans" actually root for and go easy on them to make them look good.

So glad to watch Reggie Bullock starting and finishing close games with the Pistins, and playing pretty well too. Had to do a triple take to get who that bearded dude with number 25 that looked so familiar was lol

Lorenzen Wright, goddamn brother... RIP. really enjoyed your play, although you were very sporadic... you were talented. would have probably been a recognizable name as a player rather than a murder victim to most of the country, had he been drafted to another just as bad franchise, but not owned by Donald Sterling. I think I was born in the same year as Lorenzen but nearly a year ahead because of our birthdays... I actually can recall when I'd read the news and looked at his stats and thinking that... hey Im born in Jan, this guys is born in Nov or Dec, a guy in my year, younger than me is a clipper!!! and also, having the afterthought of, WTF? why?

but when he showed up, he was entertaining at times, frustrating at times, feel the comradery at times, but always knew, he was a clipper, in classical sense of young talent giving his all in our perpetual losing situation, and moving on when his time came for the unrestricted free agency. we expected it, and it always was. the fans never took it as an insult because we knew. many of them wanted to stay and a few actually did, like the polish rifle... but none of us couldn't fault them for leaving back then.

anyways, LW was never a quitter for us, unlike Danny Ferry or Benoit, I don't ever remember him ever being a bad teammate or a publicity problem. ( but we all know our memories can fail us as we get older) RIP my man... loved your time with us brah.
ehhhhh f it.

i'll never forget when lorenzen wright helped pull down 22 (or was it 23?) boards to end that 14 game losing streak way back when.

a shame he was done like he was.

Still in awe that he wouldnt adjust his 90's style (somewhat hyperbole) defensive system consider all the length and athleticism, plus good defenders, he has on that roster.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Kawhi Wants Out of San Antonio?

The Ringer Staff (1/23/17)
Spurs receive: DeAndre Jordan, Lou Williams, Milos Teodosic, two first-round picks
Clippers receive: Kawhi Leonard, Pau Gasol

Haley O’Shaughnessy: I want the Clippers to rebuild from the ground up, and keep their picks, but that’s a far-fetched task with Blake Griffin’s massive contract on their hands. So go all in, Clips.

Boogie Cousins with a ruptured Achilles. That's too bad since I wanted to see the Pelicans have a good season and he's going into free agency. I guess he could try a one year deal and see where it goes from there. Maybe there's a better chance that he stays in New Orleans.
